Chapter Six: Sanctuary (unedited)

Wait...what had she just say? Was this really happening or was i just dreaming,oh please tell me i was just dreaming. I just stood there waiting to wake up, but nothing happened.

"Lisa get in this damn car!" Holly shit this wasn't a dream, she had read what i wrote.She read not just about me being  an atheist but about i how much i hated her for pushing me into Christianity. 

At this point i was fucked there was no getting out of this still out of panic my brain sent a shock wave through my body and i bolted toward the opposite direction of my house. Immediately i regretted it, i mean i would have to go home eventually maybe not right now but later i would have to deal with my mother. Right now i had to focus on just running, my sight just went tunnel vision and i had no idea where i was running, i just knew if i ran i would get there.All i could here was the racing thuds of my heart beat and the slamming of my foot on the pavement but i was 100% sure my mother was yelling.

I saw myself passing all the houses and buildings familiar to me until i started seeing less and less of them.It was almost completely dark out before I couldn't see my mothers car chasing me anymore so i slowed down to a walking pace and took this chance to catch my breath. My chest felt tight and my lungs aches for every breath i drew. i finally came across a building i recognized, it was the abandon church i pass almost everyday. It was on a quiet street that i think most people just forgot existed because i never saw anyone drive there.But the lack of  light made it look more like a drug dealing spot then a church. I sat down on the curb and started to try to calm down. I took slow deep breaths and counted and everything. 

My body finally started to calm down from all the adrenaline that had been pumping through my body.My heart stopped banging against my chest and my head stopped throbbing and i could finally just hear. I was just listening to the nothingness around me until my ear caught the sound of a faint humming. It sounded like some kind of machine...it was coming towards me so it started to get louder and louder. What was it? Finally it got close enough to where i could sort of make out what it was. It sounded like...a small electrical car.Wait....my mother drive a hyundai electrical car..

"FUCK!" immediately my body jumps up and activates into full panic mode. But this time i actually had time to think.
"The church" I wispered to myself
If I ran into the church she wouldn't see me as apposed to running my ass of in a straight open road.
So I ran to the church. The door was baracaded with old rotten wood so it didn't take much to get in. I slammed my body against the door making it fly open and my body against the floor.
"I'm in..."
