Lightningpool paced the cell occasionally staring out the bared window.There was a cot against the wall on one side of the room and a chair on the opposite side of the cell.Sighing she sat down in the chair.She had been in here for three or maybe even four months.Time was almost impossible to keep in this dreaded place.Lightiningpool had been captured a long time ago.In a battle outside the Sky Army Base.Squids where attacking and a recruit had a knife to there throat.She had noticed Sky was facing this squid and had dropped his weapon.The squid had not even seen her,which she is still glad for today even though she was captured.Lightningpool had lunged forward and stabbed the squid in the back with all of her strength.Before the squid could fall Sky lunged forward and held the dead weight up.She then had dragged the fear frozen recruit out from under the beast.The recruit had a chest wound probably from falling on the squids dropped weapon.Sky then let the squid drop and took the recruit from her and carried him threw the fighting and back to the base.He then handed the recruit of to the doctors there.He then turned and re-joined the fighting.Lightningpool had then re-joined the fighting as well the recruit now safe but before she could even retrieve her blade from the squids back something grabbed her arms and handcuff her.She had let out a surprised yelp before someone had hit her on the head with something before her vision had gone black.Lightningpool stood and started pacing again awaiting for her afternoon meal.She was staring out the window when she heard the banging on her cell bars.Turned saw a squid with a helmet on that was full of water and she then walked over.The squid guard unlocked the cell door and quickly shoved her dinner into her hands before slamming the barred door shut and locking it once again.She walked over to her chair and sat down.The old thing creaked and I sighed.It was going to break soon and she knew it.She looked down at her food which contained crappy mashed potatoes and UN-baked potato.She picked up the plastic spoon they gave her and started eating the mashed potatoes.After she had finished them she just stared at the potato wondering how the heck she was supposed to eat it.Her stomach growled but she just sighed and left the plastic tray with the potato by the cell door like she was required to do.Would she ever get out of this place?
