Willow's Trial~Compassion 2.0

Willow had tied everyone's horses reins to her saddle.She was worried about her job now.She had a bad feeling,and she really didn't know if she should tell someone or not.She kept quite and watched as her friends stepped forward swords out and at the ready to face these lions.Willow looked away and got back to the job at hand,she flicked the reins and Willow started off.She was going a good distance around the lions,not wanting them to spot her and come after her and her friends horses.She rode on listening to the screams of her friends and the roars of pain from the lions.She spotted the meeting place when she saw something.A baby lion,it looked starved and a pair of hyenas where circling the cub.She glanced back at her friends fighting the lions and then a the cub.It was the child of two of the lions attacking her friends.Why should she help it?But it also wasn't the cub's fault that it was born into such a ruthless pride.Then again if she tried to help the cub the hyenas could injure her badly and she wouldn't be able to keep the horses safe.Her friends needed the horses so that they could travel faster.A pained sound brought Willow out of her thoughts.Willow dismounted and pulled out her sword,a fine sharp iron sword with a leather wrapped handle.She ran forward and shouted at the hyenas to get there attention."Get away from that cub!"She yelled.The hyenas glanced at her before looking at each other.It was like they where deciding between the meal before them or the larger potential meal they would have to work for.After a moment they lunged forward snarling.Willow took a step into her swing giving her more power which made them turn right(one of them)and left for the other.She knew she could not take on both at once,she just didn't have the skill at the moment.She knew she had powers from the prophecy and she called upon them at that moment..She called upon what felt right,she called upon the plants,upon nature.The moorland grass grew tall and reached for the hyenas trapping them.They made a protective circle around the cub,to keep all harm away.Willow swung her sword again at the trapped animals killing one and then the other.One she had done this she thanked the grass in her mind.It seemed to say thank you,in its own way.Willow put away her sword and walked over to the cub.It was bleeding a little,so she tore off part of her shirt sleeve and used it like a bandage.She cub looked up at Willow looking into her eyes.It then let out a purring sound and Willow smiled.She picked up the cub and walked back to Mudslide and the other horses and then mounted holding the cub in one arm while holding the reins in another.Willow rode a bit farther from the fighting before she stopped,dismounted and prepared camp.The sun was getting closer to the tree line.After finishing camp Willow looked back and saw her friends walking towards her.

"So Willow has passed her trial?"

"She has."

"She is worthy to enter the cave of Elements then."

"What about the others?Some of them will not face there trials until they face the threat."

"We can combine the trials,put thoughts to bring others along on there tasks."

"Very well then."

Author's Note:So the people who talk last,you may be like WHO IS WHO?!Well the we don't know who they are yet so yeah.There two people or not exactly people but whatever are talking.So yeah idk the point of this except to explain that so yeah.
