Threw The Woods 2.0

Everyone gathered in the stables,horses had been saddled and saddlebag's filled.Light looked at the horse she had rode into this base on.She had never really given it a name.'Glowstone',she thought.Lightningpool looked at her horse,a black and grey one.'I wonder if I should name it I mean I am gonna be traveling with it for a while.Maybe Stormcloud.Yeah I like that.'Jewel looked at her horse,it was a light and dark brown horse.'I'll call you Pick.'She still didn't remember her parents name's or them at all so she had no clue that she just named her horse her last name.Crystal had a blue white horse,it was gentle.She named it Float.Willow had a brown grey horse.She named it Mudslide.Lightherb had a grey horse and she named it Juniper Berry.Soon they mounted there horses after Jewel explained a route to the cave of Elements and gave each of them a map so if they got separated they could get there.They rode out when the sun reached it's highest peak,and they headed for the woods.The way there would take them threw the woods,across a grassland known for the amount of lions in contained and then over a mountain.It wasn't one of those giant ones but it would still be a challenge.After the mountain they would have to cross a bridge.A broken bridge.They made it to the woods and plunged into them without hesitation,wanting to get threw them before nightfall.Jewel's parents where going home as well they where following behind them.The questers managed to make it to Jewel's house before night came and the Pick's offered to let them stay with them.They gratefully agreed not wanting to be treaking threw these woods at night.Light was even more grateful because she would not have to attempt to provide light so that they could see.They all settled down to sleep,but not all of there dreams where peaceful.Jewel dreamed of that two room cage,and her blood being spilled onto the white carpet turning it read just as whatever that thing was had threatened.Light dreamed of that woman who had chased her and she had a weird feeling about this woman.She felt like they would meet again.When everyone woke Jewel and Light told no one of there strange dreams thinking them to just be nightmares.The Pick's served everyone breakfast before they had to get on the move again.They mounted up and continued to ride."Lightherb can you check your map and see if we're heading the right way?"Jewel called to her.Lightherb grabbed both reins with one hand and leaned down to grab her map.She sat up straight in the saddle and looked at the map before looking ahead.They where heading the right way."Yeah we should be out of these woods soon in fact."Lightherb called to Jewel.A arrow suddenly flew by Lightherb catching her map.Everyone pulled to a halt and Lightherb quickly dismounted and grabbed the piece of her map that got torn.People jumped out of the trees,welding swords and such.Lightherb grabbed her sword and yelled one word."RUN!"Her horse Juniper Berry obeyed and galloped away heading in the direction they where supost to go.Lightherb yelled again,"Run you idiots I'll catch up!"They ran on reluctantly as if they didn't believe she could get out of this alive.Sighing she ran at one of her attackers calling upon her power to aid her,she swung her sword.Her attack was blocked so leap back her attackers started to form a circle around her.She dashed at someone else and held her sword up,he swung but she blocked his blade and pushed him back her speed aiding greatly with this.The two on either side off the one she had pushed back spun around and came at her swords slicing.She spun her sword held away from her to cut her enemy's down.Her path now clear she dashed off running after her friends.They where waiting at the edge of the woods,and started to get worried when she did not show up by Nightfall."We should go look for her."Willow fretted."You don't have to."Lightherb said finally arriving."Where have you been!It's been like four hours since you told us to run!"Crystal shouted."I'm sorry,just because I can run faster that all of you guy's does not mean I can run faster than horses especially over four hours."Lightherb said annoyed.Lightningpool and Light got a fire going and Jewel and Willow set up tents while Crystal started preparing something to eat.Lightherb rested,exhausted.They had hot dog's that night,before going to sleep.Lightningpool kept guard.Tomorrow they had to cross the lion filled moor.
