"Come on Liam. Answer."

"We're sorry. You have reached the number of.. Liam Payne. Leave your message after the tone.*Beep*"

"Leeroy! This is the 3rd time I'm calling. You can't just leave me a voice mail telling me that I'm gonna flip out after I find out what's going on and then not tell me what I'm gonna flip out about! 'Cause guess what Liam? I'M FLIPPING OUT! Why? Because my best mate hasn't called me back to let me know what's going on! You were supposed to call me 2 hours ago and update me on whatever it is that you were going to tell me. Just call me back as soon as you can please. Later mate."

Louis was currently pacing from end to end in his living room. Hands going through his hair, seconds away from pulling at it.

He was debating on calling Liam again, but that would be the fifth time in less than half an hour so he decided against it.

Instead he went to go sit down on the couch and watch TV while he waited. Seems like a good way to stay calm and wait. Apparently that didnt help either because minutes later he was grabbing his futbol gear and getting in his car to head to the park instead. It's only 3 in the afternoon and the weather seems decent for a bit of footy.

Why Liam wasn't answering, Louis had no idea. He said he was going to a meeting and it was supposed to be an hour long only. Louis doesn't even know who Liam was going to a meeting with or what it was for. All he said was that 'it's important' and it could be 'life changing' but to 'not freak out or worry'. Seriously?! Not freak out? Not worry? Those two things are what Louis is best at. Its engraved in his dna. How could he NOT do either?

His ringtone pulls him out of his thoughts. "If we're bumping to eachother, on a crowded street, it's not us no more, it's just you and me. We're ju-"

"Hello?" Louis says answering while stopping at a red light, not even checking the caller ID .

"Leeroy. Really? Louis I've told you I hate when you call me that." Liam says on the other end of the line.

"Yeah well you weren't answering." Louis says while stepping on the gas pedal, light just turning green. "Serves you right for leaving your friend hanging and nervous and freaking out." He says as he turns on his blinker and makes a right turn.

"Whatever. Where are you right now?" Liam asks.

"Driving to the park." He says with an eye roll as if stating the obvious. Which in his opinion should be because the park is like his sanctuary when he's nervous. Liam should know by now. "Was just gonna practice a few shots, work on my kicks." He says stopping at another red light.

"Well... I just got out of the meeting..."

And yes finally some news!

"And Liam?! What's going on? What was this life changing meeting supposed to be about?!" Louis yells, interrupting Liam and making the people in the cars next to him just give him a weird look. Louis being who he is flips them the bird before driving off as the light turns green. He pulls into the park's parking lot.

"I was getting there! Don't interrupt. So I just got out of the meeting with... THE DONCASTER ROVERS MANAGER. And-"

And he's got to be fucking joking. It can't be true.

"LIAR!" is all Louis can manage to say while jumping in his seat.
