Now or Never by Halsey!

---------------------------------------------------------

"Cole?" I stare at who I think is my older brother. The exact one who was kidnapped on my fifth birthday.

Flashback

I happily licked on my birthday ice cream as I walked down the dark alley with my older by a year brother and my parents. Cole and I were chatting while my parents were talking about grown up stuff. Suddenly four big men walked out of the alley and held up what looked like guns.

"HANDS UP!" One of them shouted. The other two went for my parents while one of them came after Cole and me. He grabbed me but Cole came up to him and kicked him in his dingaling like dad taught us to.. He fell to the floor groaning while Cole was telling me to run. Tears streamed down my face as the guy got back up and grabbed Cole. I ran to him but the guy pushed me to the floor. I fell and looked around. My father was in front of my mother protecting her from the two guys were trying to grab my mother. I looked back to Cole to find out he wasn't there. I looked side to side to see a glimpse of his leg being dragged into a car.

"COLE!" I screamed as the car sped off. I ran to the car but it was already gone. The rest of the men ran away when they started to hear voices. Someone picked me up and stroked my hair as I cried thinking about Cole and how it was my fault.

Flashback Over

"Is it really you?" I asked as I lifted my gloved hand to his face. He nodded. "What happened?"

"Well, after they kidnapped me, they kept me hostage for about 8 years and then I escaped one night when they were out at a party. I was working on my chains and loosening them enough to let my hands slip out. When they finally did, I crawled out the tiny window. Since they only fed me once a week, I slipped out easily. Then for the next 4 years, I built up my strength, and traveled everywhere looking for you and mom and dad. How are they by the way?" He asked.

"Um... well mom is perfect. We live in a mansion now but mom and dad divorced. Dad is dead to me and I hate him with all my heart." A scowl appeared on his face and I quickly added, "I'll tell you at home why." He nodded. For the rest of the night, we laughed and caught up with each other. I guess I will have to tell him at home why I streetfight.

When it was around 11, I took him to my motorcycle. His jaw dropped.

"How can you afford this?" He asked in wonder. I shook my head at his stupidity.

"Look around. This is my life now. I streetfight and plus mom's a doctor." He nodded and he climbed on like he was gonna break the thing. I climbed on and gave him my helmet.

"Don't you need this more than I do?" He asked. I just shook my head.

"I'm not gonna wear it. It's gonna hurt my manly rep." He replied placing it in his lap. I shrugged and took off. He screamed and clung onto my abdomen. I stopped at the red light and looked at him. His face was morphed into complete horror and his hair was everywhere. He coughed awkwardly and straightened it.

"That was fun." That's all it took for me to burst out laughing. A car beeped next to us. I looked at it and saw Jackson in the driver's seat with his mouth wide open, staring at Cole. In the back, his friends were laughing.

"Hey babe, wanna come over?" One of them asked licking his lips.

"Nah, I have to upgrade this baby. It's not fast enough." I said patting my motorcycle. His friends laughed at him as his face fell.
