Hey guys! Here's the update I promised you guys! Thanks so much for checking out my friends stories and profile!
QOTU:
Is there anything you don't understand about boys or girls?
I think the biggest thing I don't understand about boys is that why do they have that weird handshake? It makes no sense. They just walk up to each other and then start doing it out of nowhere.
Cole's P.O.V.
The doctor came in with a happy look on his face.
"Hey! Good news! We got the bullet removed and she is healing quite fast. We think she can go home tomorrow or so but she needs to lay off and relax a little bit. How did she get shot by the way?" He asked. The boys and I glanced at each other for an answer in horror and then we all started stuttering making a huge jumble of words as the doctor looked at us in amusement. He started laughing causing us to talk even more.
"Relax. I'm Alexa's regular doctor. She tells me everything going on in her life. I'm Zack. Nice to meet you." He said and stuck out his hand. I got up and shook his hand while pulling him aside.
"I'm Cole. Her older brother." I said. A surprised look appeared on his face.
"The one that was kidnapped?" He asked. I nodded.
"Do you know about Alexa um street-" I asked but was cut off by his nodding again.
"Mind telling me what really happened?" I shook my head no.
"Well, she was going over to her bully's house and then he must have shot her or something. Ryder found her bully on top of her while she was half naked and she was bleeding from her stomach area" I explained. He nodded, wrote something down on his notebook, and waved bye. I walked back to the guys and then we went upstairs to look at Alexa.
She lay in the bed with a bored look on her face. When she saw us, her eyes lit up with excitement. She grabbed me when I was close enough and whispered, "Help me Cole. It is so boring here." I took one look at her and burst into laughter. Once I calmed down, I shook my head at her and told her that she can go home tomorrow. She grinned. I shook my head and pulled up a chair next to her bed.
"You really have to be careful. I don't wanna lose you again." I whispered to her while holding her hand in mine. She nodded and smiled at me. I heard someone cough and I realized the guys were still here. They had confused looks on their faces I'm guessing because of what I said.
"You guys can go home if you'd like," I said to them. They shook their heads no.
"We're gonna stay with Alexa here and you. You guys are like family and we're not gonna leave you here alone." Noah said.
"Also, you guys are moving in with us after Alexa gets out." Ryder added. Alexa suddenly gasped. She sat up in bed and started muttering. I gave the boys a confused glance and they had the same expression as me.
"I forgot to call mom and tell her what happened!" She exclaimed.
"Relax. I already called her and she is on her way." Just as I said that, the door burst open with my mom and another woman. They both ran over to Alexa and started hugging her while muttering incoherent words.
Alexa's P.O.V.
I woke up with something hard under me. I opened my eyes to see what looked like a hospital room. I squeaked as the door opened with the boys. Once Cole was close enough to me, I grabbed him and whispered, "Help me Cole. It is so boring here." He looked at me and burst into laughter. Once he calmed down, he said I could go home tomorrow. I grinned while he pulled up a chair and took my hand.
