"Oh, thank God. I'm starving. Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Thank you for bringing me dinner." Mum said as I handed her food.

"Is everything okay?" I asked noticing how hectic everything at the hospital was.

"Except for half the accident victims in a ten car pile-up being rerouted here from downtown, and the E.R. attending not answering any of his pages, yeah, I'm okay."

"What does not answering pages mean?"

"It means that nobody can find him, so now we have to wait for the on call to get here."

"Excuse me, can I kind of please have something for the pain?" A lady asked walking up to mum.

"Okay, I'm sorry. I know. But, actually, giving you something could complicate things, so we really just need to wait for the doctors" mum sympathises walking to talk to another nurse.

"Uh, you know, I think that I read online that sometimes human contact can help with pain." I said to the lady taking away her pain.

"Someone... Someone help me! Oh, I need help!" Ethan yelled running in the hospital with Danny.

"What did you do to him?" I growl noticing Dannys state.

"Nothing. He said he was having chest pains and trouble breathing, but it... it just kept getting worse."

"This is not good. His larynx has shifted to the side. I think it's a tension pneumothorax." Mum diagnosed.

"Mistletoe." I said as Danny threw it up

"Where are the nurses and the doctors? Where is everyone?" Ethan asked

"It's a full house tonight. They're tending to other patients"

"Okay, well, mum, how can we help?"

"Honey, you can't. His lung is collapsed. His heart is being pushed against his chest cavity" Mum said as we laid Danny on a bed.

"He's gonna die, isn't he?" I asked

"No. No, he's not. Scott, you grab the tape. You grab those scissors and cut his shirt open."

"Mum, he's not breathing."

"I know, I know. Okay." Mum said doing something that made Danny breath again.

"Thank you." Danny gasped breathlessly.

"No problem."

"That was awesome." I smiled.

"It was no problem, you know? I mean, it wasn't a big deal." Mum said leaving the room.

"I know you're not gonna believe me, but I didn't do anything." Ethan said to me once mum was gone.

"All I know is that the minute that you got here, you went right for Danny, and your brother went for my sister. And now my sisters gone and she's not answering her phone.

"We're not gonna hurt him."

"Why should I believe you?"
