As I lay on the shitty motel bed and stare up at the ceiling, careful as not to wake the girl sleeping soundly next to me, I continued to think. As I thought I kept thinking of my past, which isn exactly the happiest thing ever. I was however pulled quickly out of my thoughts by Harley twitching violently next to me. She began to scream, scaring me half to death and then shot bolt upright, sweating. Tears began to race down her face as I pulled her into my arms telling her the normal things, it's okay, it was only a dream, and so on. After about an hour of this we went down to get breakfast at the small food court in the local strip mall. No doubt the boys had told everyone about what happened, but maybe they didn't care, or maybe they didn't know. We got no strange looks, no one yelled the crude and evil words like "Faggot" that I was so used to hearing, none of that. It was all a bit strange but yet pleasing at the same time, to just be left alone. It was peaceful.
