Chapter 1 ~ Change

Just to let everyone know this is a Hunger Games Fan-fiction. It is where both Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are non-famous teenagers at Highschool. The other characters are also celebrities but like josh and Jen are not famous but are actors The Hunger Games movies.

Inspiration ~ a very similar story which did not get finished.

Also I am terribly sorry for any spelling mistakes! (I'm still figuring out how to use Wattpad!)

So please, sit back, relax and

CHAPTER 1
Jennifer's P.O.V.

I sit down on my bed to tie my shoe laces, then I loop my white and blue tie over my head and adjust its length. the tie reminds me of how I felt at my last school, strangled, tight and never able to catch a breath.

But this school, is going to be great!
I'll be meeting heaps of new friends, I will fit it, I won't get teased or bullied.
I will belong.
I hope...

I check myself in the mirror one last time, at my old school uniforms weren't required so it's strange to see myself this way. But I know I'll get used to it.

I kiss my mum goodbye, she looks worried for me, I never told her about the bulling that went on in my past. Eventually I got injured bad enough that I needed a doctor so mum found out about it the hard way.
Her calm voice's last words to me before I walk out the door are,

"Be open to life but don't let the world take you, I love you Jen!"

Her creased forehead relaxes as I smile and nod to her.
"Bye! Love you mum!" I say already half out the door, I can't stand to see her stressed for me. Her job does that enough for her. I begin to walk and try to clear my head but I cannot make sense of what my mother told me...

I think she's trying to tell me not to make the same mistakes as last time. But she also said, don't let the world take you.

It's only by the time I can see the school gate I realise that it may not be the world mum is referring to.
It's society!
I was always nervous about my appearance because I was teased about how I looked wherever I went. Now I understand that mum is trying to tell me to always be aware when life tricks me.

As I step through the gates I can feel myself become someone new.
I am now, strong, unbreakable, smart and the best person I can be.

Sorry that was such a short chapter!

It will be longer next time, I hope you guys all enjoyed that.

It will get more exciting soon because when Jen is at school she meets soon more characters and Josh.

The next chapter is from the point of view of Josh. He has been at this school a long time now but when the new girl Jen comes something changes.
