Kaitlin's P.O.V.
*two days before, by the time Sophie and Megan talked*
Okay, I got all of my presents packed, and I went to my house. Yes, it's walking distance, and I know I took a taxi. I was "late" you know?
I dropped at the time that I got in our house's door. I tried to get the keys, but I fell backwards. I thought I was going to fall, but instead I was in a guy's arms.
"Whoa!" He says, catching me.
Then when I looked into his face and I saw the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen, and his blonde hair, well sort of blonde hair, fell into his eyes. I saw him looking, too, and I sort of blushed.
"You okay?" His deep Irish voice asks me.
"Uhh, oh yeah! Fine really. I just, well fell." Stupid me!
"Oh yeah." letting go off me. "I'm Niall. I'm new in here. Nice to meet you, uhm?"
"Kaitlin, but you can call me Katy."
"Okay, Katy. Sorry, but I got to go now, parents are waiting. Nice meeting you, let's meet in the park, if you're up for it." Niall says.
"I couldn't say no there! See you there, then?"
"Sure! Bye!" He waves at me.
"Bye!" I waved back.
Well, looks like I'd made a new friend. Keepsakes!
I opened the door to see my little sister, Casey, drawing a little picture, with..Mum's lippy?
"Casandra Greene, you are in big trouble with mum! Wait 'till she already sees this!" I scream out loud.
"Hahaha. You don't need to." Casey snort-laughed.
"And WHY not?" I raise my eyebrows up high.
"Duh? 'Cause she already saw me, and scolded me. Plus, I said you were free today to babysit me, so she'll think it's all you're fault! Hah!" She says, sticking her tongue out.
"WHAT?!" You wouldn't dare...." I say to her.
"Oh, I do dare." She says, giving me the stink eye.
"Fine, you win, alright already. What will I do for you to NOT tell mom that?"
"You, buy me a lip gloss."
"But I have to say something."
"No one should know about this. Not even Ms. Chrissy. Okay?" Miss Chrissy is a hand drawing puppet thingy.
"Alrighty. Them lipgloss okay?"
"Also, if mum and dad is around, you give me the lipgloss."
"Why?" She whines.
"Do you want your gloss?"
"Yeah."
"Then, since it's from ME, I can use it and keep it, but it's still yours. Got it?"
"Got it."
"Anyway, what kind of gloss do you like?"
"Sweet Lippy Lovable Sassy Soss, strawberry chesscake flavored."
"Why do you even want that stupid thing anyway?
"Why are you always asking questions? And to answer your question, Kayla and them other Minkers have it, and if I have one, they'll want to be friends with me." Kayla's Minkers are the mean girls at Casey's school: Wesread Elementary School (WES).
"And you all live happily ever after?"
"The end." She airquotes.
"Kay. If it makes an annoying 9 year old shush up." I playfully punch her arm.
"Heey!" She giggles.
"Love you lil' sis." I say seriously.
"Love me too. No kidding. I love you too, big sis."
Okay, I know some sibs fight, but in the end, you gotta love them!
