I woke up with a weight lifting off my shoulders finally the demoned that been hurting me is gone. No more Andrew. Ray came in the room with me.
Yn : So your done for the night.
Ray : Yeah so can you please tell me what all that crying and screaming was about. I'm worried about you.
Yn : When I was younger like 13 I was raped by my friends brother.
The rubbed my back.
Ray : Yn I'm so sorry.
Yn : I'm fine now thanks.

Yn : No not really and I don't wanna tell them there no purpose to.
Ray : Maybe there is but its your choose.
Yn : I just don't want them to keep feeling sorry for me. All I've been was a burden on them. Since college and back then. Always the samething. I just wanna move on from that.
5 years later 2000
Me and Ray are still together and are married. We even have a daughter together. Name Raven who's 3 going on four. Time has been good to me and I'm doing well. Everything has been changing and going by fast. Music, clothes, all sorts of thing changed since the 90s. No more East vs West. Now its just money, clothes, bling and sex.
My career has been doing fine I'm now editor and cheif of Jet magazine and publisher of Ebony. Ray books are becoming bestsellers but it was a progress. Now only thing we have to focus on is raising our baby girl Raven in the right direction.
But over time I learned new lessons. Sometimes the past just hold pains and the future is an untold story. Waiting to be written. Sometimes I wonder what if. What if I shouldn't of said or did that but in the end I don't care. Cause I'll go back to doing what I've been doing. Just living.
Raven : Mommy
Yn : Yeah fatty
Raven : I know how the count to ten
Yn : Oh you do. Show me
She held open her hands and began to start.
Raven : 1 2 3 .. 4..6 I mean 5 6 ahh...7.8..9...10.
She giggled with a big smile on her face.
Yn : Aww good job munchkin who taught you
Raven : The Tv and daddy helped.
Yn : Oh he did.
Ray : Yeah my baby girl smart.
Yn : Keep it up
Life really been going Ive opened a new chapter and never turning back.
