In this they are both 17 and at their last year of Hogwarts

Hermione POV

I woke up to the annoying sound of Draco's owl dropping something off. UGH WHY IS HE WRITING TO ME. This is the 122nd letter I had received from him. I don't know if he is demanding homework or what but he has been watching me and sitting close to me every chance he gets. I toss it on my desk and got dressed.

Since it is my last year, I get my own little room. I heard Ron and Harry yelling for me to hurry up. As I get my wand, I see the letter with his handwriting on it. I went to reach for it before having a mental battle with myself.

Might as well open this one because I highly doubt he will stop sending them till I open them.

I already have an entire trash can full of his letters I haven't read. I decide what can go wrong with reading just one. No harm right? Might get him to stop.  I open it and begin reading.

Dear Hermione,

I get the feeling you will read this one unlike the rest. But a guy can only wish. For once I'm being nice, I know. Shocking right? Especially to you of all people. But I have an issue I need your help with. You will probably be surprised but I'm asking nicely. Please. I will even beg for you to come. If you decide to come, meet me close to the forest. I want to show you something.

Sincerely,

Draco

I looked at the note surprised.  Why was he being nice? He was Draco Malfoy. He wasn't nice. But I guess it couldn't hurt to go. I can defend myself. Better not tell Harry or Ron. They will worry and make sure I can't go, and Harry would probably follow me with his cloak if he knew.

!!TIME SKIP!!

I went out by the woods and before long, I saw Draco standing alone with a box in his arms. I decided to sit and hide behind a tree. I waited for a bit.

After a while, I heard quiet crying.
I quietly walked out. Draco was sobbing into his hands, his whole body shaking as he cried.

I gently laid a hand on his shoulder. He launched up and looked at me with suprise. He had tears running down his face.

"H-h-hermionie!" He stuttered. I smiled softly at him. He shakily held out the box to me.

I took it and we bith sat down right across from eachother. I carefully began to undo the ribbon that held it shut.

When I opened it, I gasped. Inside was four items. One was a book that I had been saving up for since 3 months ago, the other was a necklace that had a H engraved on the center, the third item was a new Quill, and the final item was an envelope.

I gently opened the envelope and began reading as Draco hid his face with his scarf.

Dear Hermionie,

If you have this it's because I have either left or you came to the woods. I wanted to ask you for a while now but I'm scared. I want to know, if you would go out with me?

Draco

I looked up at him to see him peeking at me through his scarf. I jumped up and sat right beside him and hugged him.

"Yes." His face lit up with joy. I smiled and he started to say something but I leaned forward and gave him a quick peck on the lips.

He went bright pink looked at the ground. I cuddled into his shoulder as we looked up past the gently falling leaves, into the stars, simply enjoying eachother's company.

I smiled up at the sky as I closed my eyes, falling asleep beside him.
