It couldn't be described as anything other than a mansion. Darius owned a stunning contemporary mansion, with walls of windows and sliding glass doors, lit up by perfectly placed lights, giving the mansion an ethereal glow.

I stood beside Genesis's car, staring at the house in complete awe.

It was easily millions of dollars.

"You just gonna stare at it all night or you coming in? I'm hungry as shit," Genesis called as she walked purposefully down the stone walk to the solid oak wood double-door entrance.

I followed quickly and we walked into a beautiful marble foyer, done in darker neutral colors and very masculine.

We could hear loud voices and laughter floating through the corridor and Genesis led us into an open area living room, with dark glass walls.

A group of people were standing around some dark brown leather sofas and I noticed Snake, Cigar, Pop and Bando right away.

Everyone turned as we approached and Darius came into my view.

He had a form fitting long-sleeved plain black shirt on, a simple Cuban gold chain hanging from around his neck, and dark blue denims with white and grey sneakers.

He looked beyond yummy.

"Yo, are we going to smoke some good shit before we eat? I need to just chill and vibe," Genesis greeted as we joined the group.

Talia, in a black leather crop top and matching mini skirt, hovered behind Darius, her eyes narrowed.

"Everything's out back, go help yourself," Darius nodded in the direction behind him.

Everyone took the cue and headed toward a corridor on the other side of the room.

I took a step, ready to follow Genesis when Darius stopped me with a feather-light touch to my bare arm, which instantly set my skin on fire. I automatically jerked away, though he pretended not to notice.

"Ambra, it's good to see you again. Let me give you a tour," he said, flashing me a charming smile that made me gawk like an idiot.

"Baby, aren't we going to join the others?" Talia paused, giving him an expectant look.

Her voice was soft, but had a firmness to it.

He turned to give her a cold glare, his jaw clenching.

"Go enjoy my weed and booze with the rest of my crew. We'll be there in a few minutes."

His voice brooked no argument.

Talia nodded stiffly, her eyes assessing me with hostility before she spun on her heels and haughtily followed the babbling voices.

I felt awkward witnessing the exchange and just wanted to run and join the rest of the group, but Darius was already gesturing in the opposite direction of the house, and I timidly went with him. He took me through the house and I was pleasantly surprised by his tastes.
