Emma's P.O.V

My kidnapper has been carrying me for a long time. My whole body is shaking from the pain. I'd do anything to stop the pain.

"Make it stop," I mouth as tears stream down my cheeks.

"I could do that but I'd have to give you another shot," he says grinning evilly.

I hesitate.  I'm terrified of shots but the pain is awful and I don't know how much longer I can take it.

"Do it," I whisper. No sound escapes my mouth but he understands. He pulls out a huge shot. He flicks the plastic barrel. I hate when they do that.

"Ready?" he smirks.  I squeeze my eyes shut and try to nod.

He inserts the shot in my arm and for a moment unbearable pain sears in my arm. It feels like being stabbed. Then the pain stops. Sobs of relief break from my chest. I notice how weak and tired I feel.

I have to escape. I try to jump out of the guys' arms but all I can manage is to squirm a little.

"Pathetic," he laughs. That makes me mad. I lift my fist to punch him in the face but it just falls down by my side. I'm so weak. Mr. Kidnapper laughs again. I hate him.

My eyelids feel heavy but I hate the idea of sleeping in this man's arms. Slowly my eyelids drop. I'm so tired. Mr. Kidnapper laughs coldly and sings a stupid lullaby. I hate him so much once I get my energy back I'm going to really punch him. With that last happy thought, I pass out.

Time skip!!🙂💉😰

I awake to a loud voice. I am laying on the cold stone floor.

"Wake up!" a demanding voice growls.

"No," I moan. Every muscle in my body aches.

"Get up now!" the voice yells. I look up and see a face that makes me long for the cold smirking face of the other man. This face is muscular and has cold black eyes. He looks like an angry bull. The other man is standing behind him with his normal smirk.  I'm in a cave.

I scramble to my feet. I hate to listen to the bullish man but he looks like someone who will beat me if I don't.

"Whatever you want me to do for you I'm not doing it," I say, crossing my arms over my chest.

"I thought you might say that," Bull man says.

Then I realized that I should be sprinting away right now. I start to run only to be snatched up effortlessly by Bull man.

"You're not going anywhere," smirks Mr. Kidnapper.

"Shut up,  Jacob,"  the other man growls. I squirm but it's useless. " You still have some of the power of the Reconning within you and you will help me bring back the first Dire Magnus."

"I'll never help you!!" I scream. I have no idea what he's talking about but I don't care

"Would you help if perhaps you could save a friend in the process," he pauses, smiling, "Oh and you could save a boyfriend for your sister also but you'd have to help me."

"Never!" I cry but my voice falters. I could save Gabriel and Rafe. It's been awful hearing Kate's heartbroken sobs at night.

"Foolish girl! You will help me whether by force of your own will!" Bull man yells.

"No!" I cry, "I can't destroy the world to save them!"

"Oh, but they mean more then the world to you," Jacob says.

"Gabriel wouldn't come with me," I say quietly, as tears well in my eyes. I think about what he said about how if he came back to life everything he'd ever done for me and my siblings would be for nothing. It made no sense to me.

"Listen, little girl, if you don't help me and you escape I'll make sure your family turns against you and makes you get stitches because you will need them," Bull man growls, pulling out a knife.

I shiver but try to put on a brave expression, "I'll never help you!! Never!!"

Bull man slashes my arm with the knife. My eyes widen in fear. I stare at the man in fear and he just looks back with a cold expression. I look to see how bad he cut me and know instantly it was a bad idea. I see crimson red blood dripping from a gash in my arm. My vision blurs. I'm dizzy and I feel like I might puke.

"Marcus," I hear Jacob say, " Why'd you do that? ...We need her."

Jacob scoops me up.  I start throwing up on him as the picture of my wound comes back to me. The last thing I see is his scowling face looking down at me then I pass out.
