The boys were starstuck by how fast we had left from the garage, and down the driveway. They were also texting us like crazy why we had left 2 hours before we had to be home. We both decided to let our phones make their buzzing sounds in our pockets as we rushed home.

Winter held my hand, tightly, making sure to not let me go.

Once we reach the bottom of our street, winter doesn't turn to go towards our house, she turns and walks across the street, still griping my hand tightly. I don't need to ask her where were going, I can see it quite clearly. She is taking us to a children's park

When we walk down the trail, I make sure to watch everything I pass, just wanting to sit down.

Its a cool summer day with a light breeze, and this park has a couple trees. There is a church nearby, but nobody in the parking lot. The grass is a gorgeous shade of green, with some brown here and there, but not enough to notice walking by.

We reach the playground and sit on the small double slide, a couple feet away from a bigger park. At the bigger park, there is a huge chain bridge, and a bridge made out of plastic that wiggles. The bridges make a 90 degree angle, with a tube in front of the plastic one, and the entire thing connected by fence like material, with a swirly slide, facing the opposite direction as us.

Here, on the smaller park, it is simple as can be, with a small double slide, the fence like material that I stick my fingers into, and occasionally get stuck, and a small pole to get down. There is also a small staircase that you can hide under.

These two parks are connected by a picnic area with 4 square tables, connected benches, and a small roof over it to finish it off.

Winter sighs as she realizes that I'm looking at the park again, instead of paying attention to her. "You know," she starts, placing her hand on my knee, "we need to do something about your wings to keep them controlled, like my powers. The only difference is that I don't need gloves and I don't shoot people with ice whenever I fall asleep or daydream... oh gosh... you and your daydreaming all the time." She laughs at me, rubbing circles with her thumb on my thigh.

"Yeah, easy for you to say, you are very controlled, you don't even have to wear your gloves! You're just really cold..." I say in reply, looking towards her.

"Yes, that is true, I am cold, but I can't help that. it's a natural thing, sort of." we both giggle at her "I'm natural" statement.

We both know we're not natural at all, I more than her though.

We sit In silence for a little while until I decide to stand up.

"Where are you going?" winter says, standing up as well.

"Well, were at a park, what else are we going to do but play?" I say as I laugh and start heading towards the bigger playground, with winter following behind.

We only stay at the park for another hour, after we have played until we can barely walk anymore. We decide that it was time to go home and take a well deserved break.

Mom didn't yell at us, and nothing was out of the ordinary.

A/N hey! Yay I finally updated my story! I'm so sorry that I didn't update sooner, I am getting writers block, and getting there. It is now the start of school, high school for me! Sorry that this chapter is short as well. bye!
