You & I

Chapter 1

Kamryn's POV:

"Kami!" Get ready or you're going to be late on your first day!" My mother yelled from the hall. Little did she know I've been up for an hour with my hair and makeup done and now I'm pondering over what I should wear on my first day as a senior!

After ten minutes of staring into my closet I decide on black leggings, an oversized white sweater ,a maroon beanie with light brown combat boots. My hair is done into loose waves and my makeup is very natural. I run down stairs to grab my bag and then head out to my car.

I start the ignition and make my way over to McDonalds to have some sort of breakfast. I quickly order cinnamon melts with a coffee and make my way over to North point High school. When I arrive the parking lot is about half full with kids waiting around until it's an appropriate time to enter class. I hang around my car for a few minutes before my friends start pulling up. First to show was Alyssa; she had her long blonde hair done in to tight curls and was wearing black high waisted skinny jeans with her favorite turquoise V-neck and black converse. We waited a few minutes for more people to show but I guess they were running late.

Alyssa and I head into the building and go to our first period class together. We have U.S. History first with a crabby Ms. Moore. It was pretty boring. We got to basically just talk all period. Alyssa and I were swooning over the two new guys in our class, Harry and Zayn. Harry had dazzling emerald eyes with a mop of brown curls on his head. He was wearing black skinny jeans, a white t-shirt and black combat boots. You could perfectly see his tattoos underneath his shirt which looked very sexy might I say. Zayn had dark brown eyes, black hair into the shape of a quiff, he was wearing black skinny jeans, a t-shirt that says 'cool kids don't dance' and some all black converse. Let me tell you. They were hot.

I think they eventually caught us staring because they started looking back at us and smirking. I felt my cheeks start to flush as Harry took me in and rolled his eyes over my body up and down. He whispered something to Zayn and they both looked back over to me. Harry licked his lips and made his way over to where I was sitting. My cheeks were probably a shade of deep red by now.

He took the seat next to me and licked his lips once more before speaking.

"Hey." He smirked at me.

"Hi."

"How are you?"

Well I wasn't expecting that, so I just went along with it.

"I'm fine. How are you?"

"I'm very good, it's hard adjusting to a new school but I'll get used to it."

"Well that's good. I'm glad you like it here. Are you making any friends?"

"I am, I have two if I can include you." It sounded more like a statement rather than a question.

"Well, I guess you only have one friend then." I joked.

"I was never asking for permission."

"I didn't think you were either."

Ring ring

"Where are you headed to next?" He asked.

"I'm going to Mrs. Vaught, science. You?"

"Same. Hopefully we have the same schedule." He winked.

Harry's POV:

She was very beautiful. I couldn't help but just stare into her hazel eyes. I hope I wasn't creeping her out at all by just staring at her. I didn't think she minded but just in case, I laid off a little. In a few days when I got to know her better I planned on asking her to get some frozen yogurt. Just as friends though. I didn't want to push her to do anything too serious yet. I wasn't even sure if she had a boyfriend or not. I don't think so though.

The rest of the day had gone by rather fast. I wanted to spend more time with her but I wasn't sure. I didn't even get to catch her name. I'm going to hopefully meet her outside before she leaves to ask for her name.

End of the day

I waited out in the parking lot for her but I could not find her at all! But I caught sight of her friend she was with in first period. I ran over to her to ask where her friend might be and her name. She soon catches sight of me and turns around to get away quickly.

"Hey, wait a minute! I need to ask you something." I yell.

"What is it?" she huffs.

"I was wondering what you and that other girls names were."

"Well my names Alyssa and my friends name is Kamryn. But she prefers to be called Kami."

"Thank you so much Alyssa, I started talking to her and we never actually got to make formal introductions and I was just so nervous and now I jus-" I ramble

"Woah, calm down tiger" she interrupts.

"Sorry I just."

"It's fine, but she should be out any minute if you were wondering."

"Uh, yes. Thanks so much!"

"No problem."

As she walks away I spot Kamryn going to what I think is her car. I walk over to her and she sees me and greets me with a smile. Crap, now I'm extremely nervous. Agh, I guess I'm just going to have to wing it.

Authors Note: Hey pals! So, this is my first book and it was a disaster. So I wrote the first chapter on the Wattpad website but then my computer died and I lost everything which was just great. But, now I've learned to write it in word then copy and paste it over so it saves! So yeah that happened. Anyway I am super pumped for you guys to read this and all that jazz. I hope you enjoy it! By the way, sorry if it's short. I tried.
