Chapter 7

Kami's POV:

I love you too.

Damn it. I tried not to fall too hard for him. When things fall they break. I've been broken before and I don't want to be broken again.

I can't believe he said he loves me.

"Harry, I-."

"I know, you and your damn boyfriend but Kami seriousl-."

"I love you too." I interrupt.

He stares back at me in shock. His eyes wide and his mouth almost dropped to the floor.

He looks so adorable.

I never realized how fond I've become of this curly haired boy. His cheeky dimples and those sparkling emerald eyes.

And his soft, plump, pink lips.

Should I kiss him?

No.

Yes.

No.

Yes.

No.

Damn it, just do it.

My thoughts are interrupted when I see Harry reaching across the center console. He puts his hands on my cheeks and pulls my face towards his into a soft, loving kiss.

He doesn't pull away for a while but when he does I realize that this is a huge mistake.

"Harry, that was magical. But-."

"Do you love him?"

I am astonished that he would ask me that question. But I seriously ponder over the question if I've ever loved Taylor.

"No. I've never loved him."

I frown at how the words come out so smoothly as if I've never had any feelings towards him. Three years with him and here I am denying all feeling for him.

"What's wrong?"

"It's just. I don't know. I've always felt my feelings fading towards Taylor. He's a great guy and everything but-. He's just been so distant lately. Then you're alway there when I need someone and my feelings towards you are growing. You know what I mean?" I ramble.

"Yes, I know exactly what you mean. But, my question is when are you gonna tell him all this?"

Oh man. I just kissed Harry and confessed my love for him while I was dating Taylor. What is wrong with me? I am just a hot mess.

"I don't know. I'm going to have to at least tell him in person. But let me text him that we need to talk."

I pull out my phone and tap in the iMessage symbol to send him a text.

*Hey, we need to talk. -Kami*

He responds almost right away.

*Ok -Taylor tot*

As usual his stupid short messages as if he doesn't care. He can be very sweet when he texts me but sometime he just doesn't care. Whether it's important or not.

My thought are interrupted when I feel my phone vibrating. A constant vibration. Who's calling me?

I look at my phone and dread at the name I see. It's Taylor.

"Hello?"

"Hey beautiful."

I would usually blush at his words but they sound forced.

"What do you want?" I ask. I'm trying not to sound rude but it just came out that way.

"Woah, what's your problem? I just wanted to call my beautiful girlfriend to see when she would like to, talk."

"Uhm." I squeak. "We can do it now actually." I glance over at Harry to see his reaction but he's fallen asleep with his head against the steering wheel.

Am I really that boring?

"Okay, so... what did you want to talk about?"

"Taylor, I love you but, we don't work together anymore. You're so distant and my love for you is going away everyday. I can't do this anymore."

There was a long pause.

"Fine. I don't need you anyway." And with that he hung up.

Taylor's POV:

I didn't need her. I'd been cheating on her for the last year and a half of our relationship. She never suspected anything because I had her wrapped around my finger.

She always cared so much about me. A little too much, almost to the point of being clingy. But, she was a good girlfriend. I should have never done any of that to her. But what's done is done.

Fuck, I need a drink to calm me down. Maybe a girl too. I'll head to the strip club.

I walk out to my car and put the key in to start the ignition. The car roars to life and I head out onto the road and make my way over to the strip club.

My phone starts vibrating. It's a text from Kami.

God, what can she want this time.

*You know what. Screw you. I can't believe I ever fell for you. You are a son of a bitch you know? After all we've been through you say you don't need me. I've never needed yo-.*

And all I remember after that is the pressure of the car behind me smashing into me.

Authors Note: Hey everybody! *waves viciously* Okay, this update took a long time because I've been in Florida visiting my family. I was only supposed to stay one week but ended up staying two! But I promised myself that I would update at least once while I'm here. I hope you all enjoy it!
