You & I

Chapter 10

Authors note : I talked to my dad about my story & he told me to not delete it but to end it and just keep it up for memories I guess. Just so when I come back to write more I can read over my old work. So, that's what I'm going to do. This ending will suck. Pre-warning. Enjoy.

Kami's POV:

"Doctor! Doctor! He's waking up!"

Doctor Williams and one of his nurses come rushing into the room.

Taylor wakes up and looks around the room completely confused. But then his eyes set on me.

"You bitch!" He shouts.

"Well, I guess that's why I get for filling out all of your paper work and staying in this damn hospital for hours just to make sure you were okay. Your welcome!" I yell back.

"Uh well so-sorry." He stutters.

"Shut up Taylor."

The nurse looks back up to us giving us that 'are you done look.' We both nod in agreement towards her.

"Mr. Kirkpatrick, you will need to stay here just for maybe a couple more days so you can recover. Ms. Arnold, you may leave. Thank you for your help." She smiles sweetly at us.

"No, thank you." I say and rush out of that damn hospital room.

I turn the corner and immediately see Harry. His mop if curls and blazing emerald eyes are staring straight at me. He stands up and walks towards me with his hair bobbing along with his step.

"Are you alright?"

"No. Let's go."

He nods in agreement and we exit out of the hospital walking at a pretty fast pace.

"Kami, can't you slow down."

"Harry. Please."

"Fine." He simply states.

We seem to be walking around the hospital parking lot for which seems like forever and we finally reach his car in the back.

We walk up to the car silently with him opening my door for me. I mutter a quick 'thank you' before he closes the door and jogs around to the drivers seat.

"Ready to go?"

"Yes, please."

He puts his key into the ignition and his car roars to life. As he pulls out of his parking spot, almost hitting another car in the process, he begins to Lester me with questions.

"So? What happened in there? Why did you seem mad?"

"It's stupid." I simply state.

"You sure you don't want to talk about it?" He ask one more time.

Harry's POV:

"No. I'm fine but thanks." She weakly smiles at me.

I didn't want to force her to explain any thing that happened in there because I figured she wouldn't want to. So, why push her to it?

We drive in silence all the way back to her house before she speaks up again.

"Thank you Harry."

"What for?"

"Just for being there for me. I really appreciate it." She weakly smiles.

"Anything for you." I smile back.

She shuts the car door closed and walks up the her porch digging her key out of her purse. When she waves a quick goodbye and the door closed I pull silently out of her driveway an head back towards my house.

Kami's POV:

(A/N: sorry for changing POV's so much.)

I could use a girls day today. I pick up my phone and dial pretty much the only friend I have right now.

"Alysia! How've you been girly?" Alyssa asks at the other end.

"I could be better. But, the reason I called you was to actually have a girls day."

"GIRL. We need to hit the mall."

"Great! I'll pick you up in 10?"

"Awesome! See you in a bit." Then with that she hangs up.

She lives about 5 minutes away from me so I decide that before I pick her up I should make myself a little more presentable. I rush into my bathroom and redo my makeup quickly and then change my shirt.

I run back out to my car after locking the house up and start heading over to Alyssa's.

I get there right on time and she immediately rushes out of her house an out to my car to give me a hug.

"It's been too long!" She says while releasing from the hug.

"I know! I'm sorry. Just having so much going on."

"Well, tell me about it on the way to the mall." She smiles.

I've always adored Alyssa. She's always there for her when I need her and knows exactly what to say. And that's everything I need right now.

We both hop into my car and quickly buckle our seat belts and then were on our way.

"Spill." She says.

"Well. I was at home one day and there was this random car in my driveway and Harry told me it was his dad and that he could kill us. Sooo we went on a drive to "get away from him" whatever. But, Harry got a call from the police department earlier that everything was taken care of. Whatever that means. I'm not going to worry about it. Then I breakup with Taylor over the phone and he gets into an accident because of it then we rush back to the hospital and I have to fill out papers then he wakes up and yells at me. So then we leave as Harry dropped me off at my house and now I'm here." I gasp.

She doesn't say anything but just stare at me with wide eyes.

"Wow." Is all she says. "I didn't know any of this was going on."

"No, don't be. Let's just get into this mall and shop till we drop."

She smile at me in agreement.

When we leave the mall I'm pretty sure we each have at least 8 bags.

"Well. That was fun!" She says.

"He'll yeah that was."

We both walk back out to the car and put our bags in the trunk of my car.

We drive back to Alyssa's in a comfortable silence and when we get there she waves a quick goodbye while grabbing her bags out of the back.

"See you at school?" She raises an eyebrows before completely leaving.

"Yep, I'll be there." I smile.

I drive back home and toss all my bags into my room then hop into the shower. After my long shower I change into my pajamas and head off to bed. I fall asleep quickly and dream of the one and only Harry Styles.
