Harry's POV:

This is a really long damn car ride. How can she just sit there staring blankly out the window without feeling the tension?

God dammit why must she be so beautiful.

Stop it Harry.

Damn, if she could only see how much of a dick her boyfriend is. If she could only see that then maybe she would break up with him and be mine.

Okay, now I sound a bit obsessive.

Just last week I saw him sucking face with this random chick at Target. Seriously, what's wrong with this guy. I would never do anything like that to her.

There are good people out there that care for her. Like me. She may not realize it but I'm hopelessly, desperately and insanely in love with her.

All of her flaws, complications and problems I want to be apart of. I wish she would be mine.

As I return back to the reality of my life from my hopeless daydreams I realize we need gas.

"Hey, I'm going to get gas. Do you want anything from inside?"

"Uhm, I'll go inside to look."

As I pull up to pump 4 we both hop out of the car. I head over to the pump and fill the car.

Damn, why is gas so expensive these days.

After I finish filling the car with gas I lock the doors and head into Speedway. I open the door and immediately see Kami looking at the Arizona teas.

I sneak up behind her and pinch her sides. She lets out a loud squeal and several people stare at us.

"Harry!" She whisper yells.

"Kami!" I yell back, imitating her.

"You're stupid." She rolls her eyes and looks back at the teas.

She pulls out a watermelon tea and heads over to the candy section of the store. After about 10 minutes of her mumbling to her self about what she should get she decides on four boxes of Sour Patch Kids. Then she head over to the section with chips in it.

Damn, this girl is hungry.

"Got enough food there?" I ask as she pulls two bags of Lays originals from the shelf.

She ignores my question and just glares at me.

Finally, she heads over to the register with all the food piled in her arms.

"Here let me help you." I say while grabbing the chips and her drink.

"Thanks."

We walk up to the register setting down all the food Kami picked out. She better share with me.

"17.02." The cashier says.

Kami starts pulling money out of her pocket but I'm quicker and hand the lady my card. She swipes the card while I'm ignoring Kami's glares.

She finishes bagging the food and hands us our receipt.

"Have a nice day." She says in a very monotone voice.

As we walk back out to the car Kami is giving me death stares.

"Harry! I was gonna pay."

"Well, you were too slow weren't you."

"Hmph."

She's so adorable when she's acting angry.

_________

"Harry, when are we going to get there?" she wines.

God, she is acting like a damn kindergartner.

"We're almost there."

"How much longer?"

"Stop complaining or we'll never get there!"

"Fine."

Honestly, I have no idea where were going. I just needed to get her away from him. She needs to know nothing about him or my past.

Oh good a motel up ahead.

As I get sidetrack from my frightening thoughts I pull into a shitty looking motel.

"We drove 47 miles just to come to this crappy hotel?" she yells. "Are you kidding me Harry?"

"Look, that guy back there. He is a horrible person and will kill you if you get anywhere near him. That's why I brought you all the way out here."

She huffs past me with her arms crossed over her chest. As she walks into the hotel she cringes her nose at the awful smell.

"Oh god. What is that hideous smell?" She ask, disgust clear on her face.

I ignore her question and head up to the front desk. A man by the name of Arnold sits with a toothpick wiggling in between his teeth.

"One room please."

"I'll give you a room for your girl." He snarls.

"You disgusting little fuck."

I walk up to Kami and roughly grab her arm trying to lead her out of the motel.

"Come on let's go." I whisper.

"Harry you're hurting me."

I let go of her arm and intertwine my fingers with hers, making her blush.

Damn, the next hotel is at least 20 miles away and it's 12:30 in the middle of the damn night.

"Why did we have to leave?" She ask while bucking her seatbelt.

"That man was offering me a room, but the price was you."

She stares back at me with wide eyes.

"Kami, I.."

"A-a-achoo!" She sneezed. "Sorry, what were you saying?" She finishes.

"Kami, I think I love you."
