Chapter 8: NO LONGER A SECRET

Both Minki and Jonghyun doesn't say anything on the car.

Jonghyun just leaning his elbow on the car's door and yawning, while Minki just staring outside, watching the scenery. The only sound in the car is coming from the audio that playing all Bruno Mars' songs.

Jonghyun taking a glance at Minki and decided to break the silence between them, "have you ever dated someone else before?"

"Of course," Minki replies, still staring outside, "but it was just for fun and because I'm too curious."

"Not because of love?"

"I'm not the type of person who can fall in love easily."

"Why?" Jonghyun asks curiously.

Minki let out a sigh before answering, "I guess I'm just too afraid that if they know who I am, they will left me."

"But maybe someday you'll found someone that wants to do anything for you."

That words making Minki staring at Jonghyun for a while the laugh. "No way. Anything? Like in the song 'grenade'?" Then he laugh again. "That is just too stupid. Why sacrifice yourself for someone else?"

"So you really don't believe in something like that?"

"Nope. I don't believe it will happened to me."

Jonghyun silently agrees with Minki. Sacrificing himself for someone else, he already done that before, but what he got was just a disappointment. He won't do the same thing again. He won't fall to the same trick once again.

"Oh no!" Minki almost shout and that makes Jonghyun stares at him for a while.

"What's wrong?"

"I forgot to do my homework! It should be done today."

Jonghyun grabs his cellphone. This is actually still early, but usually he must prepared everything one and half hour before he go to Minki's school and to his office.

This morning, because of what he's been doing in the bathroom, he's getting late 30 minutes than usual.

Luckily, the traffic is not as crowded as he expected.

It's 2 hour until his meeting started and 1 hour before Minki's school started.

"There's still enough time if you want to do it."

Jonghyun drives the car to the nearest coffee shop and stops there, "I'll help you doing it."

Minki accepted that offer, he follows Jonghyun to the corner of the coffee shop and started to open up his bag, taking out a few books.

Jonghyun sits in front of him after ordering two cup of coffee for both of them. Minki started doing his homework while Jonghyun just stares at him.

He never thought that a boy like Minki is the one that can make him feels something different inside of him, after all this time he always closed his heart to someone else.

'Life is really full of surprises,' Jonghyun thoughts.

"Why are you staring at me like that?"

"Somehow seeing you like this makes me missed my school days," Jonghyun said and take a sip of the coffee that just arrived on their table.

It's a lie actually.

Jonghyun never missed his school days.

For him, it's quite boring.

It's true that he have some friends from his previous school, but he always thought that they're nice because he's now success, otherwise they won't even talk to him and thinking that he's just a weirdo.
