A Wolf Fell In Love With A Charmed One Chapter 10

As Im walking around looking at cars the jingle in my head gets louder, the further I walk I past a alley I hear commotion in the alley...

I walk closer and I see a man, and 3 demons, then the jingle stops then 3 demons use fireballs and I see the guy orbs out of the way then he throws a fireball..

I orb next to him and I raise both of my hands and blow them up..

"Thanks" he says "Its fine, Im Alexis" I say "Nathaniel, you can call me Nate" he says hands in his pockets..

"Are you a whitelighter?" I say putting my hands in my jacket pockets "Umm..yeah, are you a witch" he says "Yeah...and a Whitelighter?" I say "Really, Im also a witch" he told me.

"This may sound abit off...but your my first charge" I say fidgeting with my jacket zipper..

"Really..thats so fucking cool, so basically I follow you or you follow me" he says running a hand threw his brown/black short hair.

"Pretty much, but Im only here for a couple of days then Im going back home" I say "Where do you live" He says "Forks, Washington" I say "What are you doing here" He says "Visiting friends" I told him.

"So you gonna race too" I say tilting my head to the race "Na, just here to watch" He says with a chuckle..

"Come on" I say walking away he follows we walk to my car and I see Dom and Leon arguing

"Didnt I tell you to keep an eye on her Leon" Dom says angrily "Yeah, well she said she was gonna walk around thats it then come back" Leon said to him

"Hey! Dom! Leon! Why are you guys arguing for" I say looking at them "Because your not here--where did you go" Dom says looking back at me "Um..finding my charge" I say "Charge?" Leon says confused "Magic stuff...Whitelighter" I say looking between Leon and Dom

"Whose this?" Vince says pointing to Nate "This is Nathaniel...my charge" I say "This is Leon, Vince, Jesse, Han, Tej, Rome, Leo, Santos and Gisele and finally Dom" I say "Hey whats up" Nate says "Whats up man" Rome says shaking his hand

"Yo, Dom your up" Hector says refering to the raace "Yeah" Dom says looking at back at us "Stay here, Lex" he says I nod my head 'yes'

As the night goes on more and more races continue

But as Im standing here I feel like theres a missing piece and what is this pull I keep feeling I dont know what it is, its like my heart is pulling me back home to him but why..

About two hours of racing we head back to Doms pad "So I was gonna ask you do you want to come with me tomorrow to a funeral" I say walking with him to his car "Sure" he says we get to his car he opens the door

"Well you know where Dom's house is right" I say "Yeah I do" He says "Well go there about 3:00 then well go to the wake" I say "Alright so Ill see you tomorrow" He says pulling his keys out of his pocket "Yeah just call me, if your in trouble remember I can here you" I say with a laugh he nods his head

He gets in his car and leaves I walk back to Dom's car we get in and leave to his house..

"So...that who is he?" Dom says looking at me then looking back at the road "I told he's my charge" I say looking at him then looking out the window "And what is a Charge?" Dom says looking at the road..

"Well a Charge is person to whom a magical being such as a Whitelighter, has been assigned to provide guidance, protection." I say folding my hands in my lap "Basically you guide him" he says "Pretty much, teach him how to use his magic to protect himself" I say "Do you like him?" he tells me

"What? No...I dont we dont have that kind of connection I mean hes cute but I just...can we not talk about it" I say to him he laughs

"I know what it is, you like another guy right back in Forks" he says knowingly I look at him shocked

I cant like HIM theres no way he doesnt like me but everytime I see HIM my heart beats faster

"Its complicated" I say we stop our conversation and he parks his car and we get out and walk to the door

"Well Im gonna go to sleep" I say walking upstairs and going to my room I grab my bra and panties, sweats and tanktop and towel walk into the bathroom and take a shower.............

I get out and get dressed and get into bed

But I dont fall asleep I just lay there..

What Dom said is still in my head

"I know what it is, you like another guy right back in Forks"

Maybe I do like HIM but I dont think he likes me we hit it off great then we kinda went downhill I still dont know why....
