Different: Mission

Shikamaru followed behind Choji as they walked to Wynter and Max's house.

Knocking on the door, Shikamaru yawned.

"Hello~?" A voice said and opened the door.

A woman stood there, her head tilted to the side a bit, "Who're you?"

"*yawn* We're just here to return something small." Shikamaru said and handed her the pen.

Choji nodded, and turned to leave.

"Oooh! Wynter is going to be soooo happy!" Asuka said, "My name is Asuka, Wynter's mommy." She cooed.

Shikamaru blinked as Choji introduced them both, "I'm Choji Akimichi, and this is Shikamaru Nara." He said to her.

"Ooh!" Asuka said, pretending she didn't know (because of the notes Wynter took).

She gripped the pen tight, "Did you know that this is her favorite pen??" She said.

Shikamaru blinked, "No I didn't." He yawned, "We should get going."

Choji nodded, "Bye, Mrs. Asuka." He waved and opened a new bag of chips.

"Bye~!" Asuka said happily.

Wynter sighed heavily as she opened the door to her room and flipped onto her bed.

Then, her eyes widened, "I didn't write down anything..!" She said and ran to the brown desk that sat in the corner of her room.

She went to grab her pen, but it wasn't there.

Then, she began to panic. She checked her weapons pouch, fixed her bed, checked under her desk, checked the dining table, the kitchen counter, the backyard just in case, and finally, Max's room.

"Wynter, what's wrong?" Max asked as she searched his room.

She was panicking again, "I can't f-find m-my pen..!"

Max said, "Ask mom."

"Right!"

Asuka blinked and looked down at Wynter, "Your pen..? OOhhh right! Shikamaru and Choji dropped by and gave me the pen." Asuka said.

"Phew." Wynter sighed as Asuka handed her the pen.

Asuka chuckled, "When I die, I'm sooo telling Grandma that you're attached to that pen."

"It's comfortable!" Wynter said.

Wynter and Max sighed heavily and helped each other pick up the pieces of trash that littered a man's farm.

Stretching her arms, Wynter shrunk her antlers so they were no longer visible, and her her hair covered where her antlers used to be.

"Now it's more lighter." Wynter said and quickly picked up more trash and shoved it into the trash bag.

Max did the same, and they finished an hour after that. Wynter washed her hands very thoroughly after that.

"Heh, first mission was taking out the trash.." Jun started, but a can was chucked at him.

Jun was on the ground, anime crying, "I dodged!!" He laughed in happiness.

Wynter sweatdropped, "I question his m-mental health."

Skip a few weeks

"Okiieee dokie! Let's go on a C-Ranked mission!!" Jun said as they finished another D-Ranked Mission.

Wynter blinked, "B-But that's so sudden!" She said.

"Hmm. True. I don't care!! Letsss gooo!!!" Jun cheered and pointed north.

Max facepalmed, "Wrong way."

Wynter tugged on Jun's sleeve, "W-W-We aren't c-chunin y-yet.."

"Oh. OH WELL!"

Wynter bowed to the hokage after Jun asked for a C-Ranked mission quite loudly, "S-Sorry!"

"Another team that wants a C-Ranked mission?" Iruka mushroom sighed.

CRASH!!

Jun was on the ground, anime crying, "NoOoOoo.." He whined, "Someone beat me to it!!"

"Sometimes I wonder if he is an actually Jonin.." Max said as Wynter nodded.

Jun sat up, "Hey!"

In the end, the Hokage gave them an escort mission since no one wanted to do this one.

They had to escort a lady all the way to the land of ____.

Wynter watched as a woman walked in, her waist length dark blue hair pulled up into a pony tail swaying behind her.

She bowed to the team, and waved.

"H-Hello." Wynter smiled and waved to her slightly.

Max waved a bit as well, to focused on the book that he was reading.

Wynter had the same book as well, since the library had two copies.

Jun straightened up, "Hello! My name is Jun. What's your name?" He asked. The Hokage cleared his throat, "Her name is Ami."

"Hi." Ami said and bowed again. Then, she stood up straighter, "Please keep me safe, and home in one piece."
