Quick update

Nobody is probably interested in this update, but last chapter I said I was posting a new chapter on Friday. 

It's Friday now. 

I'm sorry, I really tried to save some time for writing but I honestly had no time at all this week. I'm halfway done with the chapter, so maybe I can finish it this Sunday. Otherwise, it'll be up next Friday. 

To make up for this, I'll just state some random facts here so you'll have at least some entertainment:

The mantis shrimp (see picture above) is a peculiar crustacean living on the ocean floors. It's my favorite animal for many reasons, one of which are its awesome colors. Just look at it! However, the mantis shrimp might not even aware of its colorful display. Its eyes are highly advanced, they might be in fact one of the most complex eyes in the animal kingdom. You see, they have 12 color receptors in their eyes. To put that into perspective, a human only has 3, so it can see 9 more colors than we do. Also, the mantis shrimp has trinocular vision, while a human has only binocular vision. Basically, the mantis shrimp sees three images at once, allowing for a lot of depth perception. In fact, they can even see in the fourth dimension and probably predict the future.

Sorry, I just made that up. The last statement, that is.

But wait! I'm not done yet! This awesome creature doesn't have this vision just to show off, it uses its vision to hunt. They need these advanced eyes, since their motions are really quick. Like, really quick. They probably have the fastest punch in the world. They can punch so fast, that the whole universe crumbles from its existence because they literally create little pockets of vacuum in water. If they miss (which is unlikely with their really advanced eyesight) the prey usually gets stunned by the shock wave of the punch. Man, I feel bad for the crabs that are hunted by these beasts.

You know, I could've written parts of the chapter already but oh well, I just needed to share this useless information. But hey! Now you can brag about your friends and family about a new species you've learned today! 

Anyway, that's the update, I'll try to be less busy but I'm already dead inside.
