So after Nina's mum died, Sharon became depressed. When he was depressed he took the same path as other (nonpeculiar) drug addicts. 'Cept he was on Ambrosia and it mangled his face. After Aspen Tony (Nina's mum) died he decided he couldn't love another, that's why he didn't pay attention to the two women in Devil's Acre.
