Wrong way...

I drove behind Layla, because I too lazy and tired to just pull up my GPS. Lazily, I rested my head on my hand and hummed. I sighed and drove, I said all the street names in my head because I didn't want to fall asleep while driving, that would be a disaster. I noticed one was the freeway entrance coming up. I waited for the traffic light to turn green and followed Layla's car. Layla turned left. Suddenly, my heart skipped a beat. I panicked as I read the sign plastered almost everywhere, the words on the sign were unbelieveable. 'Wrong way! Do not enter!"  I cursed to myself. (First curse word coming up so if you don't wanna read that then skip it)

"Shit! Layla turned the wrong way!"

"Why us? Why me? Why now?! I don't want this to be my last night here"

My heart was pounding. Knowing that this might be my last moment made my eyes burn with tears and they were threatening to all come streaming down my face. I noticed Layla had seen she turned the wrong way. I shut my eyes closed, ready for an impact. I never got to speak to my family or those who I loved...there was not much time left until...

HONK!! SCREEECH!

Layla's car came crashing into mine, the front of the car caved in with a horrendous crunching noise. The glass from the windshield shattered, sharp pieces of it piercing into my flesh, feeling the blood dripping out in little streams of their own. Another car crashed into my side, it's honk of alarm had been too late to warn anybody. The car walls immediately started caving in from that side, shattering glass and sprinkling crystals all over the passenger's seat. The force of the crash sent my car flying, then rolling over more than ten times. A gash on my forehead poured scarlet rivers into my right eye. My lungs were screaming for air and my eyes were crusted with tears, dirt, blood, and glass. A sharp pain came from my side and my collar bone. I must have shattered a rib...or a few.

A breath of grief escaped from my mouth, soon turning into a cry for help. I was sinking into a deep hole of despair.

I heard yelling, sirens, and though I felt as if I were blind, through my blurry vision I saw blue and red lights, a lot of them. Dark figures were standing by my car, silhouetted against the night sky.

In the next heartbeat, pitch black darkness overtook me.

Cliff hanger!!! What will happen next?!
