A Wolf'sTale (A Lego Nexo Knights Story)

"Okay, senior year, second semester, you got this. Just keep your head up high and you'll do great." I said to myself looking at my poster of the Nexo Knights for inspiration.

I stood in the center of my dorm. I tuck my ears in my hair and hide my tail under my shirt, using my armor to hide the bump on my back, which is my tail.

I let out a sigh. This is my last year of the Knights Academy. Then I get to protect my king, my queen, and all of Knightonia.

I turn the knob of my dorm door to leave and look back at my desk, my staff stayed there, leaning on the desk.

The weapon everyone laughed at. The one everyone thought wasn't worth it to be used in combat. I showed them wrong.

I get out of my dorm and enter the main hall to my locker. I put in the combination and take out pencils, books, and my journal which is basically like a diary but I don't like calling it that.

As soon as I closed the locker's door though, a voice made me spin around.

"Hey look! It's Wren McDork!" I recognized the voice. The jock and most popular guy in school, Zach.

I turned around and started walking to my class all while not saying anything.

"Hey, what's wrong? Going to your mommy...?" Zach called out to me.

I walked faster and kept my head down. I enter my class and sit in the very back. Why did I walk off? Why didn't I fight?

The questions just kept coming as if I was scolding myself. Two kids sat down next to me. They looked like freshmen. One was a girl wearing lavender clothes and brown hair and the other was a boy with freckles and blonde hair.

"Hi, I'm Robin!" The boy said to me taking his hand out towards me. I didn't take it though.

"Robin! He probably doesn't want to talk, he looks like he's had a rough morning......" I heard the girl whisper to him. I guess I really do look like a boy.

"I actually did, but I'm used to it. I'm Wren." I didn't smile much even though I really wanted to.

"Ava."

"Freshmen?" They both nodded to my question.

I raised an eyebrow. Interesting. After that, I stayed silent. The bell finally rang after a while and I started for my next class.

"Hey! Wait!" I thought it was another person coming to make fun of me.

I looked behind me to see Robin. He handed me my private journal. I took it back. A little too quickly I think.

"Um, thanks." Those words felt weird coming out of my mouth.

"Robin found it in your seat when you took off." Ava explained.

"Oh." Was all I said. I noticed people around me murmuring and snickering at me.

"You guys should probably go to class before more people see you hanging out with me. I'll explain later. Here." I scribbled down my dorm number and gave it to them.

I turned away from them and speed walked around the corner. Maybe people are not so bad after all?
