(No POV)

"Ow ow ow owww....!!" Here was Wren on Clay's bed, as Clay tried to straighten out his foot while Macy pinned him.

Robin and Ava were outside waiting outside the room.

"Yup, I can feel that." Robin winced as another loud "ow" was heard.

"He's going to be alright, right?" Ava asked Merlok 2.0.

"He?" Merlok raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, Wren. He hurt his foot, really it's our fault, and it sounds like it's really painful." Robin said.

"I surprised she hasn't told you. Wren is actually a girl...." Merlok told them grinning awkwardly(even if he beard is in the way).

"What?!"

"I remember seeing Wren in her freshman year at the academy while the knights were in their sophomore year. She was different from others. Almost like Clay in school. Wren had longer hair back then though. Huh, wonder why she cut it....." Merlok pondered out as he searched through his memory file.

He went onto a tablet in Clay's room on the wall to look at Wren.

"Merlok?" Wren winced as she tried to get closer.

"My child, please, don't waste your energy." Merlok's voice soothed her.

"You really are digital....." Wren said putting a hand on the tablet.

"It was for the greater good of the realm." Merlok gave a smile to reassure her.

"Robin and Ava know now don't they?" Wren's eyes clouded.

"Yes, but they still see you the same way." Merlok's eyes darted around the room until they rested on a staff.

"I see you still use it." Merlok said.

"Yeah, people still think its not worth it for battle," Wren sighed,"You know, maybe it's just that I'm not worth for battle." She had started tearing up.

"Everyone is worth fighting in battle. Whether it's making a plan of attack or ambushing, everyone follows the Knight's Code in some way." Clay entered the room. Wren looked down in an instance. Being in the Fortrex was enough, but having the leader of the Nexo Knights here was something else. She kept silent, so to not be on his bad side.

"Sorry to drop in like this, but you've done things most people only dream to do. It's your responsibility to fight. To bring peace. And to be a knight." Clay put a hand on her shoulder. Wren smiled a bit.

She then rubbed her eyes and let out a small yawn. Clay chuckled.

"The medicine must be kicking in. I'll leave you here to rest." Clay left the room and closed the door.

As soon as he turned around, everyone was looking at him.

"Yes....?" Clay raised an eyebrow.

"So what happened?" Aaron asked.

"Nothing much, I just tried to comfort her is all. She's been through a lot and it's best to try and calm her down."

"And what is she doing now?" Macy asked.

"She's sleeping right now. The medicine we gave her started to have an effect on her."

(Wren's POV)

"C'mon, stupid foot!" I murmured as I walked around on crutches. I was trying to get used to it but it wasn't working out that well.

"HEY, STUPID ISN'T A NICE WORD!!!!" It was coming from the next room over. I went in it, it looked kinda like a living room. I saw Lance in there with green goo on his face and cucumbers over his eyes. He took one of them off and saw me.

"Wait a second..." He got up and examined my face. He got out a handkerchief and started wiping my face.

"What are you doing........???"

"Whaaaat? How does this not come off?" He started poking that one dot on my left cheek. He was about to wipe it again but I stopped him

"It's a mole. It can't come off....." I say under my breath.

"Oops. It look like a speck of dirt so yeah. Hold up.....aww man and now I missed my show! Denis! Put the recording back on again!" Lance yelled to his squire bot.

I sighed. This is going to be a long week.
