Chapter 16

We hid behind some trees while Ashton pulled out his phone. "So hey guys we are just beginning some hardcore combat out there and we are reporting live from camp JESHTON!" He whispered and showed my face on the camera so I smiled. He then turned it back to him and added "if we don't make it out alive, I love you now Jessie charge!" And he ended it there. "Jess you stay here and I will be back soon, do not draw attention to yourself! We have to win this!" He cheered and tiptoed round trying to catch a glimpse of the other teams. I stood up on a rock and caught site of Michael. He was completely unaware of me so I took my chance and hit him with a bullet to the head. The bullets had all been painted different colours for different teams and the rule was if you got hit on the face you were out. Michael now walked over to the van with a disappointed look and a red spot on his face. Ashton returned and walked over to me excitedly. "I just hit Calum!" He cheered. I smiled.

"I got Michael!" I celebrated with him.

"Really? Michael's quite hard to find!" He said and I nodded. "I'm gonna go this way, you go that way ok?" He whispered and I nodded. I walked for a bit until I heard something. I turned and saw Luke aiming right at me. I ducked when he shot and missed the bullet. I chased him and when we were standing close I aimed for his neck. He played right into my hands and ducked when I shot the bullet causing him to now leave with a bright red spot on his face. I Immediately turned and hid behind a tree catching sight of Ashton walking up the the hill with a evident blue dot on his face. It was just me and Niall now. I had a great plan. Devious but great. I saw Niall aiming at me and put my acting skills to the test. I pointed at him laughed and then 'fell over.' He dropped his gun and ran over to me. That's it Niall! He kneeled down beside me.

"Niall I think I just..." And I pulled my gun up and shot him right between his eyes. "Beat you in a Nerf gun war! JESHTON IS VICTORIOUS!" I hollered and blew on the victory whistle causing everyone else to run down to see who won. Niall was bewildered and was still on the ground whilst I jumped up and cheered.

"Jess did we win? We won oh my lord!" He grinned jumping round and shoving the other boys. Niall was now on his feet.

"Niall what happened?" Michael asked.

"Ask Jessie!" Niall smirked the 'I will get you back' smirk.

"I pretended to fall over, and dipshit here fell for it!" I laughed and ruffled Niall's hair.

"You seem to be a lot more confident now you just thrashed us all in a Nerf war." Calum said whilst grinning along with me. I high fived Ashton.

"I think we have us a new Nerf champion!" Michael cheered and raised my arm in the air.

"Yeah but at least team cake look the best with colourful splodges on our face!" Luke challenged, him and posing with a pouty face and pointing their fingers their cheeks and snapping a picture.

"I would say at least team Michaill has dignity but Jessie seemed to do a good job of proving me wrong!" Michael added.

"May I remind everyone of something, we still won you chicken shits!" Ashton cheered. The boys groaned.

"How long will it take for us to hear the end of this?" Niall sighed shaking his head still trying to work out how he fell for my tricks. I laughed devilishly.

"Sorry Niall I had to win!" I pouted. "Forgive me?" I asked.

"Fine, but only 'cause you're so damn cute!" He pinched my cheek.

"Guys I have the best idea!" I cheered. They all looked at me confused. "Okay so there's this game that me and my childhood friend used to play and all I'm saying is we need a huge tractor tyre!" They all looked unsure but nodded.
