During the night, Finn sat on his bed, because he could not sleep. He only thought of Millie. Could he look at her like that? He respected her too much. What if she did not like it? A thousand problems were in his head. Why did he have to feel so responsible?

Frustrated, he ran his fingers through his hair insistently. What was Millie thinking? He decided to try and find out and send her a message. Impressively, she was awake.

Can't sleep either?

No.

Can you come here? I need to talk to somebody.

In the middle of the night?

Yeah.

Okay.

Finn wasn't thinking of anything beyond conversation. Although Millie wasn't more inexperienced than he, she always knew how to control herself more. At least in front of people she did not freak out and, at the moment, to their surprise, she was relaxed.

In five minutes she knocked on his door. Finn blushed a little when he saw Millie in her pajamas. In fact, she was wearing a night gown, but even so he was a bit embarrassed. He was also in his pajamas.

"Is everything okay, Finnie?" Millie asked sitting on his bed.

"It's just that you're so calm it calms me, too." He sat down beside her. "I can't stop thinking about our scene!"

"Me neither. I hope there are few people on the set watching."

"Me too..." Finn nodded, and they both reflected.

After a few minutes of silence, he noticed Millie's hand resting on his bed and held it. He did not know why he did it, but it just seemed right.

Millie stared at him, waiting for him to say something, to do something, but Finn just stared at their entwined hands. It was weird to hold Millie's hand like that. It made him feel different in a way that he did not know what it meant, but he did like it anyway. Millie felt the same, but she expected more from Finn. He had always been so quiet. Always avoiding it in front of others for fear of rumors about the two. She wanted him to open up a little bit more to her.

"Millie?"

"Hmm?" She tried not to look anxious, but it had been a long time since she had expected him to say something.

"What do you think about our deal?" Finn then tried to specify the question "Aren't you afraid?" He still had not let go of her hand.

"Yeah." She looked at the wall ashamed to admit "But I'm more afraid to do the scene without ..."

"Me too." Finn agreed when Millie could not finish the sentence.

After a few more minutes of silence, but this time a little embarrassing, still with their hands clasped, Millie took a deep breath, drew in her courage, and said, "Do you want to try now?"

"Try what?" Finn was confused, because at that moment no malice was going through his head.

"You know. Me and you ... " Millie glanced at the bed.

Finn's eyes widened in surprise at Millie's sudden proposal. She was braver than him for sure. He tried, but no words came out of his mouth.

"We don't have to go to the end like you said. We don't have to do anything either. I just wanted to get this over with."

She stared at the floor. It had been hard to say that, imagine if he rejected her.

Finn could only shake his head in agreement. The problem was that Millie did not quite understand what he agreed with. But she was right, waiting made things worse.
