Suffering

Finn and Millie stared at each other as the rest of the world looked at them. Pretty much the whole studio was there and there were over 20 people on the street with their cell phones recording everything and Millie could only think, Fuck! Derek was quiet, because it hadn't been cool Millie denying his kiss in front of all those people.

Finn started to run out of air and realized he was going to cry. How had she said yes? Didn't he mean anything to her? Usually Finn would take satisfaction, but Millie had accepted the request in front of everyone. I'm not going to cry in front of all these people! Finn then turned and ran as fast as he could. He was pushing through the crowd and out of sight.

"Finn!" Gaten screamed trying to hold his friend, but to no avail. He turned his attention back to Millie.

"Millie?" Derek was getting a little embarrassed by her lack of affection.

Millie then turned and realized they were all whispering. Probably about how Finn Wolfhard had run away after seeing Millie Bobby Brown accepting a date request from another guy. She took Derek's hand and began to lead him into the studio. He waved to the fans and went inside. Gradually the people were leaving, but neither Millie nor Finn stayed to see.

Millie brought Derek into her trailer and he thought it was the 'make out time', so he grabbed Millie. At the time she dodged, and he realized she was angry. Now it was he who wasn't understanding anything. She'd agreed to be his girlfriend, but didn't want to kiss him? He wanted to celebrate!

"Stop, Derek!" she screamed and put her arm in her mouth to wipe it clean. "Are you crazy? Asking me to date you in front of everyone? People keep following me, wanting to know about my life, you can't do that!"

"S-sorry! I just wanted to do something cool for you! I called the band..."

"Oh, yeah!" she cut it off, "You called a Mexican band! I'm Spanish, dork!"

Millie put a hand on her face and took a deep breath. She was dying of rage. Everything was going so well with Finn and Derek suddenly arrives and ruins everything.

Derek also started to get angry. Millie was being very rude. He didn't deserve it.

"But Millie, I know I brought the wrong band, but at least I brought a band!"

One thing she knew very well, Finn would never do that. He knew Millie very well and would never go wrong. When they stayed in the club Derek didn't even realize who she was, and he was said to be a fan of Stranger Things. For God's sake, she couldn't even kiss anyone in the dance floor without causing controversy. She was simply tired of it.

"Derek, I have a boyfriend, but it's a secret!"

"Don't tell me it's that fagot who r..."

There was a horrible noise in the room, and then Derek had his hand on his face, looking at Millie outraged. Had she slapped him? Millie couldn't believe it either. She wasn't like that, including that was the first time she slapped someone's face. Even so, he kept her posture and said, "You don't talk about Finn like that! And get out of here! I never want to see you again! GO DEREK!"

He rushed out of the studio and Millie threw herself on the floor trying to figure out what was going on. She had just dismissed the guy that the next day everyone would think she would be dating! And Finn? How was he feeling? Hopefully he would understand that she couldn't say no in front of everyone and without revealing their relationship and embarrassing Derek, because Derek would need an explanation and she was afraid that a simple 'I'm not into you' wouldn't convince anyone.

Millie wanted to cry. She needed to cry, but first she had to go after Finn. And so, she would cry in his arms. Only he would calm her down then.
