We made sure we woke up bright and early so we could get to the Trafford Centre by 10 o'clock. My younger brother still had school so him moving around was like an alarm clock which woke us all up. Dressed, hair straightened and makeup done we went down stairs to make some American pancakes covered in syrup, Nutella and sugar. Not the healthiest but never mind the holidays was a time to treat yourselves. All we could talk about was BTS and places we wanted to go and first on the list was Selfridges. I reckon my breakfast totalled to about 850 kcal to woooo guess who needs to go on a diet. We ran back upstairs to grab our bags and do a last minute touch up and check so we could head off as soon as we were ready.
I was so grateful to my mum for going into work a bit later so she could drop us off, love you mum haha. We hit a little bit of traffic but luckily by 9 o'clock the rush hour traffic had died down. We pulled into the car park and it didn't seem to be too busy (this was at around 9:50). We'd hopefully be helped in shops as well and get first dibs at the sale racks because it was less busy.
I can't even describe how amazing the Trafford Centre actually is. I may only live close by but I haven't been here much and every time I do come it blows me away. There's massive marble statues with waterfalls and fountains scattered all over the building which shoot water high up to the second and third floors. Plus you can make a wish in them which is a bonus.
The first shop we headed to was Selfridges of course where else would it be. Most of the counters had opened and some were setting up and so we decided to have a quick look round before we started looking at Makeup. Primark was one of the best shops for this. Although it's small, Primark is one of the best shops ever because you can buy the trendiest accessories and bits of clothing for the cheapest prices going. As we looked through we pulled a couple of items out each. I found the cutest pair of Vans style pumps along with a lazy boy jumper and a black pair of jeans to complete the outfit. Lily got a new bodycon dress which looked absolutely amazing on her. And Alison got a pair of heeled boots with a skirt and checkered top. To be honest I didn't expect us to get such a good selection when we went there but the woman told us they'd only just put everything out and so we got first dibs. Honestly if that doesn't motivate you to get up that little bit earlier to go shopping then nothing will. We payed and left and all of the shops had opened.... this was going to be a lot of fun.
