The pool time wasn't that great. Well maybe for everyone else but not me. I was suffering in the inside but in the outside I was this happy ray of sunshine. Ugh. Just the thought of me being a ray of sunshine makes me sick.

I tried using Finn's advice and go to my happy place. But unfortunately he was my happy place and my happy place seemed to be just a dream.

I would think of that moment. I felt warm and happy for a split second but then Iris comes in. Everyone changed into their pajamas. I've been quite silent most of the night. But of course I would always smack a smile on my face

"Can I invite some friends over?" Iris asked looking down at her phone then at Noah.

"Oh hell no!" Noah answered quickly.

Iris rolled her eyes.

"Come on their not like gonna sleepover or anything."

"Like I said, no." Noah said grabbing the house phone.

"It's only gonna be three people!" Iris argued.

Noah shook his head. Iris grunted and look like she had given up. She then looked around the room and her eyes landed on mine. I quickly looked away. I felt as if she was smirking.

"My bestie Millie agrees don't you Millie." She asked pretending to be innocent.

I gulped.

"Huh?" Everyone said in unison. Even Finn.

"Bestie? When the hell did that happen?" Caleb asked.

"Uh.." that was all I could get out.

Iris glared at me.

"Y-yeah uh Iris should get to invite her friends don't you think?" I said.

Iris smiled in her success. As if she's happy. Happy that she finally intimidated me.

"Millie? Are you serious?" Noah asked.

I gulped.

"Yeah."

Noah gave in and Iris' friends arrived. Rowan, Maddie, and well the kid that was starring at me the other day.

"Hey Millie!" Rowan said giving me a genuine smile and a hug.

Rowan is so sweet. I have no idea how she can be friends with someone like Iris. Maddie ignored everyone and immediately went to Iris but the other kid approached me.

"Hey I don't think we've properly met. I'm Romeo." The blond boy said handing me his hand.

I'm not gonna lie he's not bad looking.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Millie." I said smiling.

His smile widened when he heard me speak. Maybe it was my accent? Who knows.

"Thanks for letting us crash Noah." Rowan said.

Noah nodded and smiled. I feel bad for Noah. Rowan is super sweet, Romeo seems sweet as well but Maddie and Iris not so much.
