Chapter 5: Reunion of the Dragon Warriors

Kyuubi still held Venoct's hand in his hand as they landed at their destination. He couldn't help but notice how small her hand was compared to his. "We're here." Kyuubi said as he floated down, gently.  He looked at her, smiling warmly, and she looked at him and pulled her hand away from his, observing her new surroundings.

Their destination was in a forested area on a mountain. To her right, there was an old traditional Japanese house. She could hear the faint sound of a waterfall further down to her right, probably a few miles from behind the house. The traditional house looked pretty old and worn down, which added to the traditional japanese house aesthetic. It looked like something out of a history book.

"It's beautiful. You seriously live here? How did you find a place like this?" Venoct asked.

Kyuubi said,  "I found it with two other yo-kai who now live here with me. It's kind of our home to get back to whenever we finish our business in the human world."

Venoct hummed in thought. "Don't people try to explore this place? With a house this big, it's bound to attract attention." Venoct asked and Kyuubi shook his head.

"We make it seem like there's nothing here with a few spells. It's amazing what we yo-kai can do when we want to." Kyuubi said. " It's better if we get inside, follow me." He motioned to her to follow him inside.

Venoct sighed and followed the nine-tailed fox yo-kai into the house. It looked even more grand inside, and Venoct was tempted to explore the place, but Kyuubi immediately headed to a yo-kai that looked like a toad. He had pale beige skin, tidal blue facial markings, and long dark hair tied into a ponytail with a dull red bulb like tip. He wears a eco haori with golden colored cotton fluff, a lime green short kimono with the same cotton fluff held by a red-orange obi, eco green pants, baby blue socks, and zori sandals. His face looked like a toad and his hair gave off the slight impression of a toad's tongue. Venoct looked at the toad man.

"Who is he? He looks like a mutant toad." she commented, and the toad-like yo-kai gasped in offence.

"This is Toadal Dude, one of the yo-kai who lived in this place." Kyuubi introduced.

"Hi, I'm Toadal Dude. Just to clarify, "I am not a mutant toad, because mutant toads don't exist. But you know what does exist? MUTANT TURTLES. Can you believe that this generation of people came up with the idea of mutant turtles? Do you know what they are-" Toadal Dude was interrupted when another yo-kai shot a web at his mouth, effectively shutting him up.

Venoct looked to the yo-kai who shot the web at the yo-kai toad's mouth. He had a calmer aura to him, in contrast to Toadal Dude. He looked like a spider because of his hair.

"I'm sorry for his idiocy. My name is Arachnus, one of the yo-kai who lives here. May I ask who you are?" asked the spider yo-kai. The spidery spirit Arachnus had pale peach skin, eyes with light green sclera and yellow irises, red Kabuki-styled face markings, black hair with yellow streaks, and appendages that simulate spider legs and a ponytail at the back of his head. He wore a red kimono, a purple kataginu with spider web designs being held by yellow ropes, a dark blue hakama, and white socks and zori sandals. Venoct deemed that he was probably the one who had to shut the amphibian yo-kai up all the time. His expression had a 'no-nonsense' air and he had an authoritative aura to him. 

Venoct sighed and opened her mouth to answer Arachnus. But before she could speak, a blur of blue and black tackled Venoct to the ground. She grunted in pain and before anyone could blink, there was another yo-kai on top of her. Venoct was on her stomach and her head was forced onto the floor, so Venoct could get a good look at the yo-kai. The yo-kai positioned a sword at her neck.
