Emily's P.O.V

For most of the work shirt me and Harry didn't talk. We made awkward eye contact at some points but looked away as soon as we did. I don't like being like this with Harry, we always do this after an argument which is often. I know I'm wrong but I'm just looking out for him. If I'm being completely honest I'm gonna admit that I am jealous and want to talk to him but I won't start the conversation because the girl never starts the conversation first, that's just basic knowledge. I walk over to the main counter to get table 4's order. I tried my hardest not to look at Harry and get lost in his electric green eyes.

"Emily." His smooth voice filled the air. He only calls me Emily if he is pissed off at me or for a joke. I snap my head towards his direction hoping he will talk to me but no, he just hands me table 6's change they forgot to collect. I don't show any emotion as I drag myself towards table 4 and practically dropped their order onto the table. I walk towards the table 6 and drop the change onto the table causing it the shiny coins to make a loud sound. A wave of silence hits the café. I look down at the scattered change over the floor and their tables and then at the young teenagers expressions. Shock slaps my face as I realise what I have just done.

"I'm.. I'm sorry." I mumble quietly as I bend down to gather the coins of the floor. I feel my cheeks heat from the embarrassment as I placed the loose change into the table. I rush awkwardly into the back room to find Aria, hopefully her shift hasn't ended yet. I bump into Byron and took a step back.

"Hello Emily, I will just like to inform you there will be a new employee soon as of Monday." He smiles down at me. That's when Harry is quitting. Whoever this bitch is I hope she doesn't come near me.

"Okay." Is all I can manage. I look past him to see sonnet talking with Electra. She is smiling and laughing along with her. I didn't know they were fiends.

"Excuse me." I ask politely as I move swiftly towards the girls. They didn't look like the type of people to be friends. Sonnet was a stereotypical blonde girl; Dumb, Lots of makeup, Tight cloths, flirtatious. As of Electra was a gothic type girl; Black hair with streaks of pink, Black clothes, Dark makeup. I make my way over to them. As they noticed me they stopped talking and stared awkwardly at each other then me.

"Hey." Electra speaks out of the awkward tone.

"Hi, are you okay?" Maybe she isn't feeling well, she never talks to Sonnet. Just yesterday she was saying unspeakable things about her.

"I'm fine, I was just going to clean the dishes." She shuffles away slowly.

" 'Kay, TTYL babe." Sonnet smiles at Electra and stares me down.

"Yeah, Talk later Sonnet." She waves her off and walks towards the stack of dirty dishes. She turns her head towards me causing her fake, bleached hair to flip over her shoulder. She stared me down once more before she moved towards the main door. I wonder who the new worker will be? A girl or a boy, that's not important right now. I don't even know who the new employee is and I already hate him/her. I move towards the sink to talk to Electra. She is two-faced.

"Electra..?" I ask for her attention. She cocks her head towards me, gesturing me to talk.

"I thought you hated Sonnet?" Her smile faded at my question.

"No, I always liked her." She forced a smile. I smell bullshit. I decide not to get so worked up about this as I move to the door. Oh shit, I look at the main counter filled with orders. I move swiftly to the counter carrying two at a time and rushed to the customers. The shift was over soon and I just wanna go home. I hope I haven't left anything at Harry's house.

"Emily." I heard a familiar voice call for me. I turn towards Harry as he smiled to me.

"Yeah?" I ask.

"Why are you pissed off at me?" I roll my eyes but I realise I have nothing to be pissed off about.

"I'm not pissed off." I say in my calmest and most friendliest tone. He pulled his work apron over his head and hung it on the hooks. I walk behind the counter to hang my apron and collect my bag from the back. As I grab my bag I could see Aria's bag too, she must still be here or she must've been stupid enough to leave it here. I haven't seen her for a while so I'm going to go with my second guess. I reach for her bag but Aria's voice booms through the doors.

"Emily! Oh my god, I have to tell you something." She shakes me by the shoulders. Concern has plastered her face and I know this is serious.

"What's wrong? Are you okay? What happened? Is it about Harry?" I let the questions flood out of my mouth as she shakes her head.

"Just come and see.." Her eyes close as her hand trails down my arm and to my hand. She squeezes my hand gently as she leads me to the door to the main part of the café. I wave of regret hits me. I step back as I absorb the Scene in front of me.

"Oh.." Was all I managed to let myself say as I walk past Harry and Layla's 'Intense Scene'. Layla was placed on the marble counter as Harry stood in between her thighs. Their lips were connected and didn't leave. I rolled my eyes at the thought of how many other lips have been on hers.

"Are you okay?" Aria stops me after we walk out of The Cuppa. I feel the horrible pain in my eyes. I bit my tongue trying to hold back my unwanted tears.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I lie once again...
