As I opened the inn door my eyes took some time to adjust to the light but as I looked around, the room was deserted of all people except one. The inn was a small dome like shape with mates on the floor and small tables with pillows cluttered around as pillows. In the far side there was a small bar and cupboard with a man standing infront of the bar. He was stood there wiping down a cup to make it as clean as it could be. He had black hair, short but flat. He wore a tunic which was brown with golden stitching and some brown trousers which blended with the skirt of the tunic. He wore no shoes and his feet and hands were clean. He seemed like royalty but also had a weird air about him.

I walked in and quietly said "Hello" towards the man. He didnt even look up when I spoke to him so I just continued to walk around. I approached the bar and I was just about to say "Excuse me" When he suddenly disappeared. I looked about the inn and he had just vanished. As I looked back to the bar he was there infront of my face with a beaming smile and spoke quite loudly in an Irish accent "Top of the morning to ya!"

I jumped back on my chair and caught my breath then looked up. I quickly snapped at him "You coulda given me an 'eart attack!"

He started laughing then said "Is there anything I can get ya lad? You seem far from home." The man turned around to the cupboard and all he had was shelves full of cider bottles.

I looked at him and said "I will have a bottle of cider thanks and yes I am far from home.." I took a short look around "Very far indeed. May I ask what your name is?" I was trying to be polite as possible even though its hard to go against my rude nature.

The man turned and placed a bottle of cider on the table and said "On the house. The names Strider, Strider Kingmaker and you?" He asked quite curious as he uncorked his own bottle of cider and took a swig.

The bottle stood still as I snatched it up and took a swig. I then corked it up and strapped it to my belt then said "Im Faru. No last name just... Faru." I looked down for abit then heard a horrendous smash as the inn door whacked the wall. I turned to look as Strider did and both of our faces turned to shock as this creature launched straight at me.
