As this monstrous creature flung towards me I could see my life flash before my eyes but as its snapping jaw got close to my face its head dropped short and its body collapsed on the floor as its gurgling egg shaped head rolled about. I could see it better now and noted that it was green with four legs and a spikey body. Its head was surrounded in tentacles and it had a long spiked tail. I looked up at Strider who was trying to get his greatsword from the floorboards. He must've stuck it there when he lopped that things head off.
I was quite shocked at first but I looked at him then slowly said "Thanks for that... Do you have any idea what that thing was?" My mind was full of questions.
He turned to me and shook his head "I have never seen it before in my life. I've only heard stories about it. It can't be" He unwedged his greatsword and he crushed it in his hand. He quickly looked at me and said "I'm sorry, I must go" His arms and legs folded into his body as he floated in the air and he quickly disappeared in a puff of smoke.
I looked about after he was gone and I slowly walked over the dead creature and headed out of the inn. I saw the nice forest in the distance as the land changed from Swamp to lovely grassland and I ran towards the forest with all my strength. I finally got to the forest and I went in search for anyone nearby and thats when I saw it. As I looked behind me, that creature was not alone. I quickly drew my shortsword and dagger from their sheaths and they glowed red like blood. My eyes went from their normal hazel colour to a crimson red. Rage filled me and I prepared for a fight.
This creature seemed different, it was pink but its spikes were instead fluff and its tail was like a poodles tail. I tilted my head as it growled menacingly and spat pink goo at me. I side stepped quickly but abit of it landed on my shoe and the goo quickly started melting through it. I shouted as I threw my dagger straight for it.
Unfortunately the creature moved out of the way and ran out of sight in seconds. I had to wonder what got it so spooked to make it run away and as I turned there was a man stood there in a bowler hat and a waist coat. I could see short blonde hair spurt from under the hat.
I quickly ask "Who the hell you?" I realised how rude I was " I mean.. Thanks.."
The man just laughed and said "I'm Arke.. Arke Knotler and you my friend seemed to have attracted the wrong kind of company. Follow me to the castle.. I'm sure that Queen Roane would love to see you." He walks off and I quickly follow without objecting and sooner or later we arrive at this "Castle" but really its just like a floating city... As he stands on this circular platform I follow him and stand beside him quietly. The next thing I know I was in this wonderous city full of humans...
