Chapter Seven

The seven of them stood before the museum entrance, each dressed in the highly expensive and delicate suits they had bought. Namjoon had no idea how his boyfriend was able to afford it all, but he imagined it caused him more trouble than it did pleasure.

"You know what to do, right?" Yoongi turned to Jimin, eyes questioning.

Jimin nodded and offered his hyung a sweet smile, which Yoongi had to quickly look away from so his mind wasn't clouded with anything but the plan.

"Right... Let's do this, then."

On the outside, the museum stood tall and intimidating. The infrastructure was decorated in delicate inscriptions, traditional markings stamped into the concrete poles.

Once they paid the small fee to gain entry into the museum, the seven of them split and went their separate ways.

Hoseok and Taehyung decided to follow a tour guide, claiming it would give them better knowledge on the layout, and that it was easier to follow the plan like that. Jin and Namjoon made the plan to wander, wanting to see how security guards were spread out and if there were any blind spots in surveillance before the main security office. The plan would fall into place with Jimin, Jeongguk and Yoongi.

"Are you sure that it's going to work, hyung?" Jeongguk fiddled with his fingers, looking around the museum.

Yoongi sighed and took one of his hands, not holding it in his own, but resting it on top of Jeongguk's so that he would no longer fiddle.

"As long as you're not nervous, yes. Just do what we practiced."

Jimin frowned, eyeing the hand on Jeongguk's, before looking back up at them. "You guys practiced?"

"Yeah," Jeongguk smiled, "Hyung wanted to make sure I knew what to do. He had to wake me up early though."

"You woke up before us?" Jimin turned his gaze to Yoongi, who appeared to be red at the subject.

Something within Jimin set his stomach into a mass churning, and it wasn't a good feeling for him. Concealing jealousy wasn't a strong point for him, because an angry pout would instantly take over his features. And there was no point in denying his jealousy, because that would just be stupid on his end.

Yoongi noticed the change in Jimin's expression, but decided to say nothing about it. Instead, he declared they'd start the plan now.

"Are you okay?" Yoongi asked once Jeongguk had retreated to the exit Yoongi was about to take.

"Yeah. Just nervous."

A hand on his thigh made Jimin look up and meet Yoongi's gaze.

"Don't be. We'll be out of here in no time, and if all of this works out we'll be living like no one else."

They shared a look for several more seconds, then Yoongi offered him a smile. He stood up and left through the same door Jungkook did not two minutes earlier.

Jimin let his mind wander freely, trying to ignore the sensation that pulses from his thigh throughout his whole body from Yoongi's touch. When several minutes had passed, he jumped into character. After taking a few deep breaths, Jimin shakes his hands to let the nerves outs before slowly walking to the closest security guard.

"Excuse me?" He made sure the guard was looking at his teary eyes before continuing. "Have you seen my boyfriend? Mint hair, short, pale. Kinda grumpy. He has all of our things and I haven't seen him since he left, but he didn't say where he was going."

The guard looked annoyed at first, then sighed and beckoned for Jimin to follow him. "I'll let you check to see where he went. Usually I wouldn't let you, but because my boss pissed me off this morning I'm willing to bend a few things."

Jimin bit back a smile as he followed the security guard to a secluded room. When they entered Jimin was faced with a wall of small screens showing different points of the museum, both inside and out. However, there was no guard, which surprised Jimin and made the one next to him sigh.

"Always taking breaks whenever he feels..." Though he seemed angry, there was a small smile on his face—one Jimin recognised Hoseok gave Taehyung whenever he did something stupid.

The guard stepped towards the wall of screens, eyes running over them as he said, "Take a look and see if any of them show your boyfriend. If not we can rewind it and see where he went, or make an announcement. But, if-" He cut himself off when he caught sight of a commotion on one of the screens.

"Leo," A voice was heard through the walkie-talkie strapped to his shoulder, followed by a seconds worth of static. "We need you by the monuments."

"Shit," The guard—Leo—ran to the door, but stopped to look at Jimin again. "When you're done, make sure you shut the door—please and thank you."

Jimin nodded and bowed, letting out a small, "Thank you."

Leo smiled tightly before spinning around and retreating to where he was called to. Jimin, however, smiled and turned to the cameras where he knew Hoseok and Taehyung would be causing a scene by the monuments. He didn't look long, though, because he quickly looked away from them and began to search for what he was after.

Yoongi, Namjoon and Seokjin had been certain that it would be in the security office because that's generally where most of them were. But, they didn't know whether it would be pinned up on a wall or rolled away in a drawer. Jimin tried both.

Sure enough, when he pulled open a metal drawer, there was a large, rolled up piece of cardboard paper. When he unrolled it, it revealed the blueprints they'd need in order to make their way in and through the museum and to the bank. There was only one problem...

Because their plan was to have Yoongi leave with all of Jimin's belongings, Jimin had nothing to hide the blueprints in. So, he opted to quickly fold it up and, much to his discomfort, stuff it down the waist band of his pants, but still leaving half of it flat against his stomach. He buttoned the suit jacket up so that it wasn't as obvious, and smiled when he finally realised they had successfully finished the first part of their life-changing plan.

Footsteps from outside startled Jimin and he slid back to the cameras, making sure that his breathing was calm.

"Babe, I thought- Oh."

Whoever it was coughed and cleared their throat awkwardly. Jimin turned around with wide eyes, acting startled.

"I'm sorry, Leo let me in and said that I could look for my boyfriend. I'm sorry," Jimin got all of that out as quick as he could, keeping the act up. He bowed to hide his tiny smile.

"Uh, it's okay."

Jimin straightened his posture and looked at the guard before him, eyeing the badge on the left of his chest.

Hak-Yeon.

The name sounded familiar, like he had heard it from Yoongi or Seokjin before, but he brushed it off.

"Did you find him?"

He nodded and offered the guard a smile. "Yes, I did. Thank you."

They both said their peace and Jimin quickly walked to where he was meeting up with Yoongi, unable to stop the grin on his face and the feeling in his stomach. When Yoongi saw him, he advanced towards the younger, wrapped an arm around him and spun them around.

"I knew you could do it."

Jimin smiled even wider and held onto Yoongi. They were one step closer to changing it all. Jimin was now fully prepared and willing to do it.
