Outside, the casino stood bright and proud, lights illuminating for blocks. Music that sounded too joyful for the darkness gambling was echoed, loud enough to make the beating of one's heart harder and louder than ever. Half naked women dressed in nothing but a bra of sorts and festive, colourful bottoms that ranged from spouting large, fluffy feathers to simply hugging a slim figure strutted outside the casino, luring as many people inside as they could.
Jeongguk was in awe. Being young and never getting the opportunity to experience such a thing, he was left with wide eyes and a slack jaw as he dragged his gaze up the high, vivid structure before him, trying to take in how close he was to success.
Jimin and Taehyung were almost in the same state, except once they saw Jeongguk motionless and awestruck, they snapped back to reality and ran back to drag him forward.
The eldest contained their amazement. Although Hoseok wanted to grab Jimin's arm and scream in his ear that it was real, that they were there, and that the lights were so pretty in the star-lit sky, he continued his venture forward.
Yoongi gave them all a small pep-talk as they began to get closer and closer to the casino. First, he made sure each of them had the fake ID's Hoseok had bribed an 'old time friend' to make (Yoongi had to admit, they were just as believable as real identification cards) eyes on Jeongguk specifically, considering the youngest of them not only wasn't twenty-one, but didn't exactly look like it. Then, he stressed that each of them play it cool, not speaking unless they were asked a question, but not looking as if there was a single problem. Lastly, he made it important that they go in a specific order; Yoongi going first with Jeongguk and the first bag, Jimin waiting seven minutes before following the lead with the second, Namjoon and Jin leaving the same amount of time between Jimin's entrance and their own with the third bag, and lastly Taehyung and Hoseok following suit.
"The last thing we need is to raise suspicions, so this is where we split up," He clarified once they were a mere thirty metres away from the staircase.
Jimin ventured to his right, smiling at a group of women that had taken a slight interest in him. Namjoon and Jin decided to change their direction and observe one of the sleek sports cars the casino had on display out the front, whilst Hoseok and Taehyung allowed themselves to be swarmed by a group of close-by women. Yoongi and Jeongguk continued straight ahead, not looking back at the remaining five friends.
"You think we'll get it right?" Jeongguk questioned, holding himself back from fidgeting.
Clicking his tongue, Yoongi glanced at the younger in the corner of his eye. He decided not to give him a straight answer, but rather a small piece of advice.
"Don't fidget, it'll draw attention. And, relax; I'm not making nor letting you play at any of the tables. You and Taehyung can use the machines, it's a lot easier. After that, you can go play craps with Jimin, unless he sticks with you guys. Most likely... Do you have the watch Hoseok gave you?"
He nodded, looking down at his wrist as he did so. "Tae-hyung and Jimin-hyung have their's, too."
Nodding, the mint haired (which had began to fade into a pale green, almost a strange white-y colour, considering he hadn't had the money to get it re-done) male gave Jeongguk one last pat on the back just as they stepped through the entrance.
Straight away, the music clashed with that still playing outside, the loud tunes reverberating around the inside of the casino. However, they had barely even stepped inside before they were instantly wafted with a strange feeling, one neither of them had experienced before. It was liberating, to say the least.
After making it past security and checking in (Jeongguk grumbling at the fact that he was questioned so severely by both regarding his age) they stopped just short of the hideous patterned carpet of the casino.
