The man in an expensive looking, fitting, grey suit sat behind the enormous, wooden desk his face buried in a file. A case he'd been trying to concentrate on, knowing well that it involved one of his most valued clients. Still, as he forced his eyes on the details on the file, he couldn't read anything, his mind having switched off to a world of its own.

If he was to be honest with himself, his mind was on the only person it seemed to want to dwell on. But what was the point of thinking about someone who was probably in the arms of another man? Torturing his heart with an unrequited love was what he'd resorted to in the past many years. Even creating as much distance between him and everything to do with her, as possible wasn't working.

He still got to think about the slickness of her silky hair, the intoxicating scent that drove him wild, the plump lips he'd come so close yet so far to kissing. And those curves. God, those curves made him so hard he feared ripping his pants each time she was within eyesight. He was a damned fool for pinning on one, disinterested woman for ten long years. Ten. That's how long he'd harboured wistful thoughts of ever being with the one and only woman his heart had rebelled against letting go.

Letting out a frustrated sigh, his hand ran through his face with exasperation. He'd just slumped the same hand on the work desk when the door pushed open. In walked an elegantly yet officially dressed, long-legged, willowy woman. That cream business skirt suit, whose jacket had already been discarded courtesy of the hot weather, captured her lean, mouth-watering body nicely. In hand was a tray full of edibles.

She flashed him a megawatt smile while leaning forward to carefully place the silver tray on the desk. "Lunch!" She beamed straightening her posture.

Meeting her lively eyes, he smiled faintly. "I never asked for_"

"I...know that!" She interrupted, her stilettos echoing through the walls of his office as she made her way around the desk. "When you didn't buzz me immediately after noon, I figured his highness was in his feeling today."

The man in a suit scowled. "I'm not in my feeling."

She nodded slowly then briskly before unwrapping a sandwich and offering it to the reluctant man. She rolled her eyes and shoved it in his mouth. "That's right, like that now chew."

His frown was comical as he glared at the beautiful lass menacingly. Chewing slowly, he caught the sarcastic nod of encouragement from the woman. "You don't have to act like my mother all the time." He whined childishly.

Shapely brows rose with arrogance. With shoulders square, chin high and her nose shoved to the air, she spoke keeping her tone haughty. "Well, it's only right I carry out my role fully. After all..." her statuesque fingers which were polished scarlet peeled a ripe banana before she brought it to her luscious, red lips. Their gazes locked and the bombshell finished gingerly, "... you've feasted my breast." She bit the fleshy fruit.

It was the very first time in his entire lifetime that he'd blushed. He went to look away but soft fingers gripped his chin in place, his eyes meeting her gaze again. "Lucia_"

"That's right, baby. That's exactly how you whispered my name while at it." The remaining fruit was deposited back on the tray and so was the sandwich. Her behind was propped on the desk, her upper body leaning forward to be just mere inches away from his. She breathed on his jaw, warming the skin there. "I rather..." a pink tongue darted out, licking a particle of bread caught on the corners of his mouth. "...enjoyed feeding you, Warren my boy."

It was well into the afternoon, Warren registered. Hot rays pierced to the bright room through the floor-to-ceiling, glass windows and his ravishing secretary who undoubtedly wanted him with the same if not stronger intensity she'd desired him since their first meeting, was seducing him. The temperatures piqued alarmingly.
