A Problematic Relationship

Chapter 5: Pursuit Course

 "Lieutenant Y/N's personal log. Captain Archer, Commander T'pol, Commander Tucker, I know all of you are listening to this.I know, you'd think I'd be the last person to do this. I've disobeyed orders and you may never see me again, but just so you know : I couldn't have lived with the thought that I didn't even try this.

Court martial me all you want after I get back. If I get back, that is. All three of you know how much Malcolm means to me. And I don't regret my decision, because I know he would've done it as well.

I remember when Enterprise was one big family, when we never left anyone behind. I still consider Malcolm to be a part of the family and I don't plan on leaving him to die in the hands of some Romulans.

I've taken a rifle from one of the storage lockers and, of course, Shuttlepod one. Even if you follow me, if my plan succeds then you'll get here long after Ive defeated the Romulans. But if I fail: it's gonna be loo late.

I idn't take my Starfleet uniform with me so they may think I'm some delusional civilian and I can minimize the risk of war.

"I can't believe this." Trip was concerned to death about your wellbeing. "She didn't even tell me anything! Cap'n, we have to go after her!"

"We're left with no other choice. T'pol, tell Travis to set a course to Alpha Onias III, maximum warp." Archer gave out the orders

"Aye, Sir." T'pol stepped out from your quarters.

"I didn't know Malcolm had such a big influence on her." said the Captain.

"Oh, believe me, it's much more than you think." Trip scuffed, still only thinking about where you could be.

Archer started walking back and forth in your room. You caused him more trouble than you've ever, potentially putting both your carreer and his in jeopardy. But somehow, he wasn't has mad as he thought he would be, because he wanted to save Malcolm as much as you. Unfortunately, he had to think about the concequences, which were really concerning. A war with the Romulans would destabilize the whole quadrant. He had to forget that, because then and there, he was much more concerned about two of his officers; two of his best friends.
