As I woke up the next morning, I opened my cell to find a message from James. My heart skipped a beat while opening it.

Morning Grace, how are you?

I replied quickly:
Hey James.
I'm fine and you?

I'm fine. I wanted to thank you for last night, it was amazing.

I'm the one who should thank you for the surprise❤

And I wanna tell you that you were right.

Right about what?

You were right when you told me we can't start our relationship because of the difference between our ages.

What?!
You were convincing me to start this relationship for months, James. And now that I'm ready, you just changed your mind?!

I don't want to make you sad. But we can't be together.

I'm not sad. You can't affect me anyway.

That's how it has ended between us.
A love that has ended before it began.

I don't know what happened from last night to the morning. But what I'm sure about, is that this wasn't the real reason why he decided to end it.

He broke my heart. He made me fall in love with him. And when I fell, he just gave up on me.. on my love.
It was obviously easy for him. But what hurt me the most, is that he didn't give me a reason, a convincing one. I wasn't really sure if he had a reason.
