Hey. Hope you're feeling better today.
I sent him a message at 3:00 pm and waited for his reply. It was 5:00 pm when my mother entered my room and found that I didn't start studying.
She sat next to me, on my bed, held my hand and told me:
"Grace, I undertand that you're sad for him. But you can't waste all your time on thinking about him."
A tear shed through my eye as she was talking.
"You have to stop crying Gree, you're acting like it's your own father that has died."
She paused, waiting for me to reply. And when I didn't, she continued. "Come on Gree, you have to wash that beautiful face and do a little review for tomorrow's exam."
She took me to the toilet and helped me wash my face. Then, she took me back to my room where I opened my math book and started revising for the exam.As I've reviewed all the chapters, I walked out of my room and found my little sister Cathy watching tv. I sat with her trying to focus on the movie. Suddenly, I remembered the message I sent for James. I went quickly to my room, picked my phone up hoping to find a message from him..
Unfortunatly, It was 7:05 pm, and still I didn't found any message from him.
It's alright, he might still be in the church, I thought to myself. After eating dinner with my family, I went to my bed.
I fell asleep with my phone in hands, waiting for him to text me back."Beep, beep." The alarm clock rang to wake me up the next morning. I checked my phone, and didn't found any new messages.
I went to school, did my best in my math exam. I did very well in comparision to last day.On my way back home, I decided to focus on my exams, trying not to think about what happened again.
