Avagilene pov:

I have alwaysw adored fall. The leaves changing colors, whilst decorating the ground. The crispy air filling the surroundings. Scented candles, pumpkins, hoodies. Let's not forget Halloween and thanksgiving.

Suddenly something poked me, bringing me out of my description. I looked up at the cause. Nolan. He was staring away at my parents rushing everywhere to set things up, like he wasn't the one who just poked me. His brown eyes analyzing the situation around us, as if trying not to look at me. His perfect brunette hair neatly parted to the right side. His freckles shined slightly in the light. His cheekbones, sharp enough to cut through something.

While studying every perfect aspect of Nolan, not getting very far, he looks over at me, surely trying to act surprised as to why I'm staring at him.

"What?" He questions loudly. Well, only loud enough to bring me out of my quiet thinking. Bringing a smile to my lips, I look at my parents, like he was doing, "oh nothing."

He looks at the pavement on the ground and laughs softly.

"Whatever dweeb."

"I'm not even going to argue with you about why I'm not the one who is a dweeb here." I tell him accusingly. "Why is it my destiny to marry the prince? " I ask, suddenly changing the topic.

He looks in my eyes with a sudden frown on his face. His mouth opens, and then closes. Repeating the process again, he looks strangely like a fish out of water. But apparently while the fish cannot have water, Nolan cannot have words.
When he determined he couldn't find an answer that would sloth my question, he just gazed at me.

I always admired when he looked at me like this. I felt as though he was staring deep into my mind, seeing every aspect of my soul, and every wish I dreamed would come true. It felt as though, he was the only one who knew me, truly knew me and accepted me.

With a slight blush painted on my cheeks, I glance away.

"I don't know ange, " he sighed, "but I do know that I will be with you every step of the way." Oh, how sweet, I thought.

I merely nodded, not being able to find the words grand enough to show my gratitude for him.  I lean over to where he sits beside me and brush my lips on his cheek. Placing a kiss there, to show my love and appreciation. That seems to bring a smile to his face because when I pull away, he looks at the ground, showing off his perfect dimples and straight white teeth.

I get up, leaving Nolan whilst Informing him that I'll be seeing him later. I walk over to my parents who are all over the place, Decorating. Back and forth, back and forth. The prince was coming here tonight. This night was merely a gathering, so they said. Mom and dads sides of the family, and the prince. Great.

I opposed to the idea of marring the prince plenty of times. Only to be met with the responde, "it's not your choice dear."

The hell its not. It's my life. You may be my parents but I will marry whom I love and want to spend the rest of my life with. Suddenly in a very foul mood, I turn away , heading to my bedroom. The house was a simple 2 floor house. On the first floor there was a bathroom, living room, and kitchen. Upstairs was mom and dads room, my sisters room, my room and the bathroom.

My sister, Ashley, was normal. By normal I mean, she doesn't have to marry a prince and gets to do whatever she wants. She is one year younger then me. She is very pretty, I'm not going to call myself ugly but Ashley's got the goods. Guess it makes sense , since I'm adopted. They adopted me when I was 5. Ashley has medium sized brown hair, blue eyes. She is skinny but also has a good size love handles. So basically an hour glass figure. I am 18 while she is 17.

Why would you marry your adoptive daughter out ? Why would you marry your daughter out period?

They never answer me when I ask though. Always the same response, "its for the best, he was looking for a wife, here you are. He will give you everything you want." That sounds great and all but I don't want to have everything handed to me. I want to travel... With Nolan.
