The dogs charged at me but I had a trick.
"Halt," I yelled at them holding my hand up.
They stopped. No dog could disobey german commands because they always obeyed hard constants and German was full of them.
"Sitzen," I commanded.
They sat down and I picked my stuff up and opened the stall doors and then the barn doors. The barn doors took me a little bit but I got them open.
"Kom mit!"
The dogs came and walked behind me as I walked back to the shack. I looked in the window and Hank was distracted. I pointed to the road and told the dogs to run. They ran off and I creep to the door. Right as I got to the door it opened.
"Should've known you wouldn't be there long.
Hank pulled me inside and threw me to the floor. I crawled over to my brothers hands and placed the knife I had gotten out of my jacket into his hands. He closed his hands around it as Hank came over. He pulled me up by my arm and sat me in a chair. He tied me down and sat me in front of my brother.
"I found out Leya has another secret she's going to share."
My face turned whiter than snow. He couldn't have known about that. I only told one person and that one person would die before telling unless it meant my safety.
"Leya what is he talking about," Reid looked to me and I swore his eyes were raging with fury but his voice sounded on the verge of tears.
"Yes Leya what am I talking about," Hank instigated.
"Nothing."
"Oh come now. We don't lie here."
"Hank shut up."
"Leya. What aren't you telling me."
Spencer's voice was starting to be coated with anger. I knew he hated broken promises and I swore not to keep anything from him.
"Spencer I made a promise before I made your promise. I have to keep it."
"Just tell him," Hank yelled.
"No."
Hank got up and punched me in the stomach before going over to grab his knife. He started the camera as well.

Prentiss's POV
"Guys we have another video coming in," Garcia said.
"Garcia play it. Kevin try to find key details that will give us a location. Garcia trace it."
Garcia put the video on the screen and Leya and Spencer were tied to chairs facing each other. Hank was standing in front of the camera.
"Leya seems to not want to tell Spencer her new little secret I heard you all talking about. So let's see if we can't get it out of her," he said waving his knife in front of the screen.
He walked over to Leya and stabbed her.
"Ah! You son of a gun!"
"Oh shut up its not like you haven't been stabbed before."
"But do you know how long ago that was!"
He undid Leya's bonds and put her in the light that was between her and Spencer's chairs.
"Strip."
"Heck no."
"Show them your scars or tell Reid your secret."
"Neither."
"Always stubborn!"
Hank went over to Leya and fought with her. After we heard a sickening crack Leya stopped and he stripped her down to her bra and underwear. Leya held her wrist as he brought the camera over to her. She was covered in bruises old and new. She had burn marks both old and new. Scars from what looked to been different weapons, knifes, and guns. She even had words that had nearly faded but were still readable. Some of the words were mine, slave, _______, and traitor. He brought the camera back out and went back to Leya.
"Embarrassed enough?"
Nothing.
"Leya just tell me the _______ secret," Reid cursed.
"No!"
"Leya just tell me!"
"Fine! You wanna know the secret that bad I'll tell you! I swore an oath when I was one to our mom! That no matter what I would protect her precious baby boy! That I would be smarter and work harder than him! That I would be the best of the best so that no one could compare to me! That I would be physically and mentally strong! At age three I could have graduated high school! That's how hard she trained me! But since you couldn't know about our little secret I had to act normal! Do you know how hard it is to act normal in a kindergarten class when you can spell ennui forwards and backwards! And also knew that it meant the feeling of being bored or something tedious! But my number one job was to protect you at all costs! I got constantly reminded that if it were me or you I had to chose you! I've worked for agencies since I was five! Five! Getting all the contacts in the world that I could so I could protect you! And when you got addicted to that stupid drug I got constantly reminded that I was a failure for not stopping you! Our mother constantly reminded me that since I couldn't protect you from being kidnapped, that I couldn't protect you from getting addicted to a drug that I was a failure! I was a kid! She could hardly look at me because I, me a fourteen year old girl, let you get addicted to a drug your kidnapper gave you! And on top of all her crap I had to deal with being Reid's kid sister and acting like I was your average kid in school! Everyone in the family made fun of me because I couldn't act smart or I'd get in trouble! Every kid in school made fun of me because I took all the advanced classes! And to top everything off I'd get kidnapped by crazies like him and be beat, tortured, and every other possible thing you can image! My life has been a living ____ but I had to put all my problems aside and put you first! No one cared about my problems and I couldn't tell you or mom would beat me for worrying you! My whole life has been about you! So there's the _______ secret!"
Leya took a few deep breaths while Hank laughed.
"Well that was interesting. Oh and team you have 72 hours and then Reid one," he said moving the camera to Reid," dies. And Reid two will die 72 hours after him. Good luck."

Leyas POV

I heard Hank shut the camera and I sat on the ground. I put my head on my knees and wrapped my arms around my legs.
"Well I expected the secret but man you took that to the next level."
"Hank," I said out of energy," I know what you want."
"Amelia's location."
"We both know Amelia has been dead for two years now. Tomorrow is the anniversary of her death. That's why you wanted me. I took the one thing you thought no one could touch or take from you so you want to take that from me."
Hank's smile turned from happy to serious to sinister.
"Well, well took you long enough my pretty."
I lifted my head with the motion of his hand raising my chin.
"You can have it. Tomorrow at 7:34 pm. The exact time Amelia Louise Dimoandhart Blu died."
Hank laughed a wicked laugh before inching closer to me.
"Has our pretty fighter given up?"
"I ask just one thing."
"Yes my dear?"
"Before you take it I want you to let Spencer go. Let him off in the middle of the woods somewhere or in the middle of town I don't care. Just let him go."
"Do you promise to be a good girl if I do?"
"Yes."
"Then it's a deal my sweet."
He pulled me closer to him and kissed me on the lips. The kiss felt like decades to me but I knew it was only seconds in real life. Hank left and I was left with Spencer.
"Leya," he called.
I turned to him and I knew I was crying because everything was blurry."
"I'm sorry for yelling at you Spence."
"It's okay. Leya what did you promise him?"
"Spence you don't need to know that okay. Just know that I love you and that I'm keeping my promise to mom okay. I'm going to protect you."
"Leya," he complained.
"Spence please,"I said putting the last bit of my clothes on and walking over to sit in his lap,"please just leave it. Please."
"Okay," I heard him rumble as I leaned my head against his chest and wrapped my arms around his neck.
I wanted to stay here. I wanted to feel safe forever. I wanted this to all be a horrible nightmare. I wanted to wake up and see Spence coming home with our ice cream. But I knew that tomorrow everything would be ripped from me. And the last good thing, the last thing I had kept such a tight grip on for all these years would be taken from me. But as I listened to Spencer's heartbeat I knew I was doing the right thing. I couldn't let such a good person die.
