(Authors note: I don't remember if Prescott was in the art class or not. So if he isn't, he is in this book)

He had always liked her. Always wanted to be with her, Max. I guess I'm just jealous. I wish he'd look at me the way he does at her.

Max and I share a class together, photography. We both enjoy it so I talk to her sometimes. She's very kind and sweet so I could see why Warren likes her, but I really like him.

"So anyways, that's why I was so quiet today." He laughed. I smiled. "Hey, you okay Y/n?" he looked concerned.

"Oh, uh, I'm fine." I guess I didn't sound convincing.

"You know you can tell me anything, I'm here for you."

"Thanks Warren, I really do appreciate it but I'm fine, really." I smiled again.

"Oh hey Warren! Hey Y/n!" Max said cheerfully as she greeted us.

"Hey Max." We said at the same time and all laughed.

"Max, I wanted to talk to you." Warren put his hand on his neck, awkwardly. "Alone. Sorry Y/nn (your nickname)."

"No, I understand." I said as I walked away, to the dorms.

"Flirting with Warren again." Veronica snickered as I walked past her, I ignored her. "He'll never like you like he likes Max." She said as she pointed at them. Just then I saw Warren's face drop. He got rejected.

"Why do you even care? You don't even like me." I said in my head, I'm not brave enough to tell her that.

I fast-walked to the dorms and ran into someone, dropping their stuff on the ground.

"Hey! Watch where your going! I need to be places!" Prescott yelled.

"Sorry." I said, shyly. I picked his stuff up and while I was handing his stuff to him he said, "So it speaks."

"I'm sorry, but I'm not an 'it'." He thought that remark was funny.

"I want to hear more of what you have to say." He smirked and moved closer to me.

I pushed him back. "You have places to be?" I reminded him.

"Oh, they can wait. After all, I am a Prescott. I control everything around here. Even you." Nathan smirked yet again.

"Well," just then I got cut off by a blue-haired girl.

"Prescott, you'll never get a girlfriend especially not like that." She folded her arms.

"Says Chloe Price." He glared. "I bet you had never had a boyfriend."

"Annnd you'd be correct in that statement," he grinned as she said that. "It's 'cause I'm gay." His face was red with anger and I laughed. He walked away realizing he had lost.

"Haha. Thanks, Chloe." I said and she held her hands in finger guns.

"Anytime. I hate that son of bitch anyways." She said bye and ran off twords Max.

I saw Warren awkwardly making his way to a bench, his dorky smile gone.

"Are you okay Warren?" He smiled at me and I sat by him.

"I mean I suppose." He looked at his hands which he was rubbing. "It's just Max doesn't like me."

"She likes you." I reassured, I wanted to see his bright smile again.

"No not in friendship. Like, I want her to be my girlfriend." His eyes looked like they were teary. "She'll never like me."

"Warren. I guarantee their's always someone who likes you." I almost grabbed his hand and told him how I felt.
