Rule Breaker (Nathan X Reader)

I woke up to Nathan yelling through the phone. I rubbed my eyes and looked at him.

"Shut the fuck up Victoria! We're never going to be a thing!" Nathan hadn't noticed I was up until I hugged him. He lightly pushed me away.

"Fine..." he said and hung up. "Victoria was spreading rumors."

"About what." I asked rubbing his hand with mine.

"You." He answered quickly. I felt like crying then.

"As long as it wasnt about you." He looked at me confused about how kind I was.

"I rather it be about me." He got up. "Get changed," he half demanded half sighed. "We need to get to class."

He went to the bathroom and left me to change in his room, so I wouldn't get caught.

When he got back his hair was not crazy and he had his classic red jacket on.

"Let's go, now!" He said kind of rudely.

"Is everything okay?" I asked him as we stepped out into the courtyard.

"Yes it's fine! Just leave me alone!" He yapped. I backed up.

"Nathan, what has gotten into you? You seemed fine last night."

"I said leave me alone!" I didn't do as he said, I pressed harder.

"Nathan Prescott listen to me! I love you. Now tell me why youre so angry."

"Get the fuck away from me." Why had he changed so quickly?

"You know what? Fuck you." I walked away from him, leaving him. Almost crying.

I went to Mr.Jefferson's class before school to talk to him.

"Hello Ms.L/n." He grinned.

"Hi. I was wondering if I could work alone on the project?" I asked.

"You need a partner. Why? Is Nathan doing something?"

"He's just, mean." I admitted. Mr.Jefferson nodded.

"I wouldn't want my students getting bullied by eachother." He looked down at a paper. "I'll see what I can do." He smiled.

"Thank you sir." I said polietly and left.

"Hey Y/n!" Warren said from the science lab as I left Mr.Jefferson's classroom.

I went over to him and his girlfriend. I didn't realize how depressed I looked. "Hey."

"What's wrong Y/nn?" His face was full of sorrow.

"Prescott." One word said it all. Warren's face dropped.

"What did he do?" Then he gasped like he just noticed something. "Oh, I know."

"What?" I asked, hoping I could help Nathan.

"Well, in the bathroom there is writing on the wall." He paused thinking whether or not to tell me.

"Warren, I need to know." I was scared.

"On the wall it said that you and I," He sighed and looked at Fiona she nodded at him. "It said that you and I..." he didn't finish.

"You guys did it." Fiona looked sad.

"Fuck." I sighed. "I'll talk to him." Just as I said that, the bell rang to go to first period.

"Hey Y/n." Warren stopped me. "Be careful." I smiled and nodded then walked to class.

I sat down getting my stuff out of my backpack. Mr.Jefferson came up to me. "I talked to him, can you handle one more day?" I nodded and thanked him. He walked to his desk.
