AShield [BTSxReader]

J-Hope's POV

Tae and I were sitting in the living room waiting on his father to tell us when we would be leaving to the vampire's house. I knew Tae wasn't exactly all that excited about going to stay with a vampire. I mean it's really odd because vampires and demons are pretty close, but then again Tae is very different. I stared over at him and noticed he was lost in his own thoughts. My head snapped towards the door when I heard it click shut.
"V! Hoseok!" His father yelled.
I rolled my eyes and stood up to greet him, "Hello lord Kim. V is lost in his own thoughts at the moment."
He glared over my shoulder towards V and I literally wanted to punch him in the face.
"You can give me the information." I sighed.
"Hmm...Fine you two should go ahead and leave. The limo is waiting...." he stared and went to leave.
I was about to turn back to Tae when his father said, "Oh, and tell V not to forget what I told him to do." With that being said he left.
What did he mean by that? What was Tae suppose to do that I'm not informed about!? I guess I'll have to ask Tae.
"TaeTae." I said while plopping back down next to him.
When he didn't reply I called his name again, "Tae?"
He didn't even blink...I swear demons go into their own world when they are in deep thought. I snapped my fingers in front of his face and sighed when he didn't even blink. Wonder what has him thinking so much gees this kid!
"Hey Tae!" I practically screamed in his ear.
"What Hobi hyung?" He finally replied looking at me.
"I've been calling your name for a few minutes now. What were you thinking about?"
"The AShield." He replied boredly.
"Hey don't act like that around me! Your father already left." I whined shoving his shoulder. I hated when he acted cold and bored. It wasn't his true self...I swear I hate his father for doing this to this ball of sunshine.
He seemed to perked up and smiled at me happily, "Really I missed him leaving?!?"
I laughed and ruffled his hair, "Yeah you were zoned out! But hey we're about to leave and head there!!"
He nodded and jumped up excitedly and grabbed onto my arm. I could only laugh and drag him along with me into the limo. Tae seemed to be getting comfortable so I pulled my phone out as the car started. I was trying to find some information on the AShield. I was extremely excited to meet her. Nobody knew much about her, just that she was injected with the vampire prince's venom and DNA when she was still in the womb. We've heard she's basically a shield for the Prince. It must be sad to be born just to be used....I was making myself sad, but then I heard Tae sighing sadly. Now what's got him down?! I turned to look at him and frowned seeing him fiddling with his fingers.
"What's got you so down now?"
"Ah I thought I'd be free! But I still have to act as V!!!" He whined and leaned on me.
"No you don't! Be yourself Tae!" I whined, he needs to be himself! He'd be so loved and make so many friends.
"I'll try...it's still hard to do around someone who isn't you." He sighed and closed his eyes.
"You'll open up to them...I hope...Just rest until we get there." I mumbled while ruffling his hair. He was soon fast asleep and I sighed staring down at him. It wasn't fair for him to be forced to act like this. I remember when I first figured out how sweet Tae actually was. He was so terrified that I'd tell my father and he'd tell his....I did tell my father...But he is a good man and he always let Tae come over and be free to be bubbly and weird. It all changed when he slipped up in front of his own father.....I remember that night clearly and I wish I couldn't. It almost caused demons and werewolves to not be allies...
I sighed and thought back to that night....We were playing outside when Tae ran towards his father happily with his boxy smile and giggles. His father immediately yelled at him. Tae didn't understand hell he was only eight and he could be a little stupid at times. His father told him to stop smiling and laughing. Tae being Tae just laughed and told him he loved smiling. His father slapped him so hard Tae literally flew across the room. It was the first time I ever transformed and I attacked his father. I got him one good time before he slung me across the room and bit into my neck causing me to transform back to normal. My father felt it and barged in....let's just say it took a while to get them back on good terms.
