Broken Soulmate

"Long time no see Joon." The voice said.

Y/N's POV

This voice sounded a little familiar to me, but the name I didn't know at all. I shoved away from Tae and froze staring at the new face in the room. It's him? What how?! He hasn't aged a bit from when I was little, but maybe that's how Reapers are. I never knew this man was a Grim Reaper. He smiled at me and opened his arms for me and I couldn't help but to run and hug him.
"Puppy! You left me!!" I whined and smacked his chest once I finished hugging him.
"Ow come on sweetie, I couldn't stay and besides you are finally able to show emotions." He smiled and ruffled my hair.
"Jackson you know Y/N?" Joonie asked
"That's impossible, because I've never seen you!" Suga yelled.
Jackson smirked and winked at me making me roll my eyes.
"Yes I know him, but he was in the form of a little brown Puppy whenever you two were anywhere near us when he was here." I answered.
"Wait the fucking dog was you?" Joonie laughed and shook his head.
"Yeah it was the easiest thing to do. I've always been fond of Y/N. Her mother was a dear friend to me, I promised I'd protect her no matter what."
Everyone seemed to understand and I'm really glad it's Jackson helping us, cause if more than one of us already trusts him then it'll help the others give him a chance. I'm worried though, Joon said his soulmate betrayed him. Is that even possible? Namjoon, Jin, and Suga walked out of the room with Jackson to I guess tell him everything.

I stared at Tae as he was having a conversation with J-Hope, Jungkook and Jimin. I couldn't possibly think of betraying him. I couldn't really betray anyone in this room, how can your soulmate do something to hurt you? Tae noticed me staring and smiled pulling me into his lap.
"What's wrong princess?" Tae whispered as Jungkook kissed J-Hope's cheek.
"I'm just confused..."
"About what Y/N?" Jimin asked and I jumped a little because I swear he was on the other side of the room not beside us.
"Damn Jimin just scare her why don't you." J-Hope laughed.
"Sorry Y/N...." Jimin smile nervously as Tae glared at him a little.
"Calm down demon boy. I'm confused because I don't understand how a soulmate can betray their soulmate."
"That's really random Noona." Jungkook said.
"No it's not bunny boy, Namjoon Hyung said that Jackson was betrayed by his soulmate." Tae rolled his eyes at my brother, who growled at the 'bunny boy'.
"Oh wait you're right....Isn't it like really freakin hard to betray your own soulmate?" Jimin said.
"It is extremely hard....unless someone can control your soulmate....like a fake soulmate." Jackson said causing all of us to jump.
Jackson sat down next to me and Tae while Suga sat next to Jimin. The Namjin couple was no where to be seen.
"As much as I want to get to know this where the hell is the Namjin couple?" Jungkook asked reading my mind.
"Ah they went to put our plan in motion." Suga said.
"Alright do we get to know this plan?" J-Hope asked.
"Yes but you need to know his story first." Suga replied as he pulled Jimin to his side making me smile.
"So my soulmate...Mark....He's a Grim Reaper like me....He...He was kind of like Y/N here."
"How's that possible I thought..."
Jackson cut me off, "Just listen to everything first....please?"
We all nodded and got ourselves comfortable.

*story time*

"Mark is a Grim Reaper....But he wasn't born a Reaper. Like Y/N he was injected but with Reaper DNA. He was injected though when he was four instead of while in the womb. I'm not quit sure why they gave him Reaper DNA. His mother was a mermaid, father was a demon. His fake soulmate is my....excuse me was my best friend. He never told me Mark was his soulmate. Jinyoung was destroyed when I found Mark to be mine, I didn't understand what happened. Mark was mine from the very beginning, he was born with my eyes. The DNA must have link up with Jinyoung somehow. I didn't know it was possible, but a mermaid told Jinyoung everything to do. Mark and I were about to be married when he...He tried to kill me. Only a Grim Reaper can kill a Grim Reaper and Mark was the most powerful one if you asked me. Jinyoung used the link he had with Mark and used it against me. Once Mark tried to stab me I grabbed him and I just couldn't do it though...I couldn't kill him....so I sent him into an endless sleep. I also tried to kill Jinyoung, but JB banished me here. A few decades later I met your mother....She was my light in the darkest time of my life. You look so much like her. After a few years I had to leave before the others found me with her, before Jinyoung found her. So I ran, but not before she told me she was pregnant, begged me if anything happened to her to please protect her daughter. I didn't understand until a year later. I heard about a little girl an AShield a beautiful girl that sounded just like her....I never knew your mother was involved with a Grim....he was such a horrible man. So I searched for you and found you. I have been trying to protect you from the others, because I knew you were part Grim Reaper. We can sense our own kind from birth. So before they could track you I found you and blocked their senses. I haven't seen Mark, but I know he's still in an endless sleep because only I can wake him, but I won't do it while Jinyoung is still the way he is. I know he has a true mate somewhere."

*story time done*

"So....JB has control over me? Is Tae not my true soulmate?" I asked terrified.
"No quit the oppisite, you can control JB. JB isn't your real soulmate. His real soulmate is our friend Youngjae, but neither of them can see it because of your connection to him. Grim Reapers are really difficult to understand. None of us are quit the same. But as you know we can shapeshift, like how I turned into a dog, we control emotions inside of others. I was born with a gift of putting people to sleep for however long I want. Jinyoung can seduce anyone he wants. JB can control your mind and trap you in it. I've heard he's done that to you?"
"Yes it was horrible...wait how come you know they're soulmates but they don't?"
"Because my friend BamBam told me so. He can see true soulmate bonds. He's only staying with JB because his mate Yugyeom is JB's brother."
"Damn so I wonder what your powers are princess." Tae said squeezing my side closer to him.
"That's what I'm here for. Our plan is simple. I train Y/N, while Jin and Namjoon are distracting the elders. Who I know for a fact are planning something to destroy the next leaders which are Suga, J-Hope, Taehyung, and Namjoon. Suga and Jimin will be working on a trap to lure JB and the other Reapers here. As much as I hate it we need them to work with us, but if I'm right on Y/N's power we will be able to get them, even JB, on our side. J-Hope, Taehyung, and Jungkook I need your help training."
"Alright me and Jimin are heading up to work on our trap." Suga said dragging a blushing Jimin outta the room.
"So what do you think my power is?" I asked curiously.
"Ah can't tell you cutie, it'll ruin our training if you try to force sed power out. You need to take a rest before we start though."
I pouted as Jackson left the room alone with J-Hope and Jungkook behind him like lost puppies.
"Awe baby girl don't pout lets go rest. I can't wait to see what you're made of."
I smiled and wrapped my arms around Tae's neck as he lifted me up bridal style and flashed into our room. We both fell asleep in each other's arms after talking about everything and anything.
