I didn't need to turn around, to know that Tristan was behind me. I could literally feel him shaking. It was almost overpowering by how much anger was rolling off the furious Alpha in thick, suffocating waves.

My Wolf was howling loudly, demanding me to turn around.

"What are you doing? Turn around!" she growled pushing at the walls of my mind to take control. I gulped, taking a shaky breath, and could do nothing to help calm my raging heart, and the painful butterflies pounding inside me.

Glancing at the crowd, I noticed the members of my pack were shooting shocked, fearful glances between myself and Tristan. Trembling, I suddenly realized Jakes hands were still clamped tightly around my waist.

I looked up at Jake bewildered. Why is he still holding me? I was shocked to see he was already staring down at me, his brown eyes hard and unreadable.

"Jake?" I asked, completely perplexed.

My Wolf snarled at Jake, wanting to rip his head off for upsetting our Mate.

Hearing another enraged growl rip through the silent clearing, I jumped to my senses. I harshly tore Jakes tight arms off me, pushed out of his hold, and spun around to face Tristan.

I almost gasped at what I saw. Standing a few meters in front of me, was Tristan shaking violently, who was slightly hunched, as if fighting his Wolf. His hands were clenched so tightly at his sides, I could see them turning white. I realized that Tristan wasn't looking at me, but staring furiously at Jake.

Tearing my wide eyes from his quaking form, my eyes found his. I almost stepped back in shock, at how black and deadly his eyes were. I could feel the electricity and burning passion between us as I continued to look into his eyes.

My Wolf growled, "Go to him, we're the only ones who can calm him". Tearing my eyes away from Tristan's dark ones, I noticed that he was still shaking violently, and his breathing was harsh and shallow. Knowing my Wolf was right, I took a tentative step towards him. His eyes snapped to me at the movement, expression hard. I could hear the gruff growls erupting in his chest.

Gulping, I took another hesitant step towards him. Looking over Tristans broad shoulders, I noticed about four men gathered behind Tristan; all cold hard, motionless expressions plastered on there faces. Turning back to Tristan, who was now about three meters in front of me, I closed the distance slowly until I was standing directly in front of Tristan.

Tristan's eyes were on me the whole time, but still he continued to shake.

"Tristan?" I whispered, noticing my voice came out breathless and hoarse. Before I could do anything; Tristan grabbed me by my waist and crashed me to his solid chest. The breath was knocked out of me at the sudden movement, the incredible feeling I got when my body came in contact with my Mates was indescribable.

Tristan wrapped his muscular arms around me tightly, there was basically no space between us. My face was planted in Tristan's broad hard chest, as he buried his face in the crook of my neck; deeply inhaling my scent. I sighed in pleasure, wounding my small arms around Tristan's waist and greatly sniffed in his sweet, woodsy scent.

My Wolf was howling with joy, ecstatic to be finally being in our Mates arms. It felt as if my legs were jelly, they started to wobble, as pleasure sawed through me from just being in Tristan's embrace. I then realized that this is the first time, Tristan and I had made actual physical contact.

Tristan's shaking had calmed down by now, but I could still feel and hear his soft growls, erupting in his chest. Boldly, I nervously ran my hand up his solid muscular back, attempting to calm him. I couldn't help but linger my fingers on the taunt muscles of his back.
